[There's a little boy poking at the journal and flipping through it. He's rather curious and clueless about it, trying to figure out exactly what he should be doing with it. After a moment, he picks up the pen and starts scrawling lines over it, like he's trying to write but can't quite form the words.]

[Asch ponders this for a moment. A part of him wants to keep going, so he can get back to communicating normally, but... there's a very strong urge to just go out and play.

So finally he ponders his fingers briefly before lifting up two of them.]
