[It's early morning; between Natalia's sudden disappearance and Guy's little event-related affair this past week, Asch is officially in a shit mood right now, and has entered that oh-so pleasant "leave me the hell alone" mentality that he's so fond of. Thus, he's left the house and wandered off to walk along the river along the western side of the village, heading for nowhere in particular - his only goal is to get out.

If you're willing to handle his bitchery, feel free to strike up a conversation or meet him en route. He's armed but for once not dangerous, just moody. |D]

[She smiles and lazily strings her fingers through his hair, humming to herself. This was pretty relaxing, and was doing wonders for her bad mood, at least a little. It took her mind of it.]

[She hums again, quietly, stopping here and there to mull over notes and the tune she was thinking of. How did that song go again? It didn't have any words...]

[He ducks under a particularly low tree branch, Making sure he goes low enough to avoid knocking her off.]

[How considerate of you, Asch, though she's laying pretty low, too. His question snaps her out of it, and she answers with a little hum in return.]

Hm? Am I bothering you? ...I was just thinking of an old lullaby I heard when I was small. It's hummed, not sung, since there aren't words to it. [He listens quietly as he walks, not interrupting, surprisingly. It is actually pretty soothing; his mother used to hum and sing for him when he was a kid and she was well enough, so it stirs up good memories instead of bad.]

[When she finishes her little song, she smiles and lays back. Poor Asch, he must be missing his friend a lot if he was just wandering around aimlessly, and acting so upset. That person must have been very close to him. She doesn't say anything, just kind of lays there quietly. If he wants to talk about it, he can, though she isn't exactly expecting him to. Boys are silly, and never talks about their problems.]

[Oh, Miyabi's used to people like that. She's lived with Issun for quite a long time - much longer than you've been alive, Asch. She knows how to deal with silly boys like you, and luckily has some patience. At least when it matters. Even so, she's not a rock, and eventually speaks up.]

Mm...thank you for keeping me company, Master Asch. It's taken my mind off my troubles and that stupid experiment. [She pauses for a second before adding, softly.] Uhm...I-I hope you're feeling better, too.

[It's a good thing she doesn't take it that way, or at least understands his wording. She was about to say something, but her voice seems to clip off before she does. Miyabi is quiet for a while before she speaks, finally. Just ignore the menacing tone of her voice, or how it could cut diamond with how sharp it sounds, Asch. She's really just a sweet and adorable sprite. ...Most of the time.]

...Yes, I was. If you're aware of a demon named Aku, he was the one I was paired up with. [She grinds her teeth together, aura turning red hot in a matter of seconds. The disgrace and embarrassment was not something she wants to openly discuss.] Were you affected, too?

[She moves to look down at him, her anger simmering down a little.] No one from my homeland is here except for Mother Amaterasu, so I wouldn't know exactly, but--uhm...something like this can't break apart two people, if they're really close.
