[Wow, card, way to state the obvious. He glances warily in her direction, then shrugs. Not like he can really see her anyway.]

Then I'm your servant, I suppose. But isn't the fact that we have no memories more important right now?

Maybe you're right. What do we do about that?

They're.. [ .. he suddenly feels a lot less like explaining this.. oh well. ] They're like monsters. Undead monsters, so they died and came back to life.

But they aren't real.

[Wow, man, way to call him a hideous undead creature, thanks 8| Asch frowns, but doesn't seem bothered; he feels pretty good for someone who apparently died, which means it's obviously nonsense.]

I doubt whoever wrote that has any idea what they're talking about.

I'm... honestly not sure. Look for clues around the house, I guess... try to find more information about our identities. If we really live here, there must be something.

What kind of clues? Like pictures?

[ Sorry, Asch, he doesn't exactly understand the concept of tact most of the time. But at least he doesn't.. really outwardly seem to mean it insulting, he seems indifferent.. ]

Why not? Apparently you don't listen to blond people and my hair is dyed. [And he's a murderer. He can't believe that, he just can't.] Me being older by a few minutes or something sounds way more believable.

I can't see. Pictures wouldn't do me any good. If you can find any, I guess you could just describe them, but...

[That would probably make more sense if he could remember what colour anyone's hair was. He's not even sure he knows what blond hair even looks like... but whatever, it's not worth arguing over.]

[ She can't remember things like that well, okay. ]

Oh. Oh! I guess you're right. Well, I can look for pictures. What are you going to look for?

...I guess... I could check the house for more people? In case we're not the only ones here. Or outside- maybe we have neighbours.

Will you be okay outside?

I won't know until I go out there, will I? [He shrugs. It's hard to be afraid when you don't know anything to be afraid of. He's nervous, it's true, but he's not suited to look around the house, and he dislikes the idea of following her around like a helpless puppy.] It's fine. If anything happens, I'll just come back.

That's a good idea! Alright, I'll look around here.

[ Not having any real sense of size for wherever this is, it's not entirely unreasonable for her to think she'd be able to hear him no matter where the two of the them go. ]

[Either the idea of them being too far away doesn't occur to him or he doesn't care; either way, with a backwards wave he starts towards the door.

Except he doesn't know where the door is, so he might stagger around blindly for a while. This is going to take some adjusting.]

[Rapunzel had been planning Asch's celebratory evening since she first brought up the idea to him. She knew her definition of fun didn't exactly line up with his, but she had taken that into account as best she could. She wanted him to actually have fun, and if that meant leaving the balloons and song-singing at home, she would deal. And hopefully he would enjoy what she had in store for him.

On that Sunday evening, she crisply knocks on his door in the evening, dressed in a simple white blouse and navy skirt. Her hair is braided, however, an obvious mark that she spent plenty of time getting ready for this.]

[Asch, shockingly, is well-dressed and ready for her when he answers the door. He'd tossed around the idea of feigning an illness, or disappearing for a while, or just plain refusing. He's a jerk, he has a reputation for being a jerk, it would be easy.

....

But. But. He can't do that to Rapunzel, either.

So he opens the door for her, clad in a velvety green and black traditional Oracle Knight suit, probably the closest he has to "church" clothes without venturing into the uncomfortable territory. He gives her a quick head-to-toe onceover, then tilts his head to the side, his gaze focusing on her lack of enormous blonde train.]

...Your hair?

[When he opens the door, she does utter a tiny gasp of delight at seeing him dressed so nice. See? He wouldn't dress up if he was convinced he couldn't have fun tonight. This was a good sign. She didn't have anything to worry about!

She glances over her shoulder at the braid, a sheepish smile on her lips.]

Oh, yeah...I thought it might be nice if I had it out of the way for tonight. Um--! You look very nice, Asch!

Mm. You too. [It's as close as he'll get to acknowledging that he looks alright, because- well, dressing up just isn't his thing, generally. He'd usually describe his attire as formal rather than nice.

But whatever, that's nitpicking, something he's never been a fan of. He steps out of the house without flourish, shutting the door behind himself and gesturing forward so they can start walking. He doesn't know where they're going, so he'll let her lead the way.]

It's sensible this way- probably not so in the way all the time. How did you manage to braid all of that?

[ Have fun finding the door, dude. Meanwhile Arietta will be SEARCHING FOR ALL THE PICTURES.

... but in Asch's room she finds a cheagle and clearly this is the most important thing to discuss that she could have found. Star might not be too happy about this arrangement... specifically, being suddenly whisked away towards Asch with all the care and grace you'd expect of someone raised by ligers.

... And he is still inside. Weren't you going outside? Maybe he changed his mind and looked inside first. ]

Um... I found a cheagle in one of the rooms.

[A cheagle? What- wait.]

Is that the thing that set me on fire when I woke up?

[HE KIND OF WANTS TO KICK IT ~~although he'd probably accidentally kick Arietta instead, and that would end badly~~]
