Tch... fine. All things in my world are composed of subatomic particles known as fonons. There are seven types, each with a corresponding element, and it's what allows us to use magic. Most people can only use the first six, but the seventh is controlled by special individuals. They're called 7th Fonists, and they're highly sought after for their ability to read the Score.
