Alright, so the festival isn't a complete disaster. I forgot how long it's been since I actually went to something like this.

Back then, it wasn't as taboo to marry "across the border" as it was a couple years ago. Or...your time, I guess. Those sentiments are still around now, but not so much.

But I always thought...after Hod fell, I always thought, "I will never having anything to do with Kimlascans." I didn't just hate the royal family or your father, I hated everyone. That feeling lasted for a good long while.

...And then I became friends with Luke. And I gave up revenge.


And I always wondered -sometimes I still do, even though it's ridiculous- if my Father would be ashamed of me.

It's stupid to think he would be. My father wasn't like that; even as tensions between the countries rose, he was the first one to defend Kimlasca. I'm not sure if it was because of my mother or because of his own personal convictions, but...he did.

But then Hod was invaded. And then Hod fell. So...I guess I'll never know whether or not he resents Kimlasca. Won't until I die and ask him myself.
