Asch is wandering around the village a bit, looking for a good spot to practice some artes without killing anyone, maybe get some thinking done somewhere other than at home. He's not in any particular mood, good or bad, so if you're lucky you'll catch his good side. His journal is open since he's checking a folded map he's got attached to it, so if you're lucky, you might hear him muttering a bit.]

...so the lake's... further west from here. Damned trees turned me around...

Mind you, the afterglow was great. The cooking was pretty okay. The higher end of okay. Maybe you got your subjects confused.

Maybe you're getting my meal mixed up with the replica's. I knot it's hard to tell us apart sometimes.

You- [And here Guy jabs a finger between Asch's brows] have a little dent here because you're always scowling. It'll be a wrinkle in five years, tops. You also have a diagonal scar across your stomach and two over your shoulder, plus the three from Eldrant. You don't open your eyes as wide as Luke does, and you don't fling yourself around on the bed when you sleep like he does.

Luke has a scar on his left elbow from where he tripped and skinned it, and two burn marks on the ball of his palm from when he touched the burner in the kitchen. His hair is lighter and a lot wilder than yours, and his writing is messier, though he can actually write quite well if he puts his mind to it. He isn't as particular about his appearance as you are, his balance isn't as good as yours, but he's faster than you.

...I can go on.

[And here's Asch... genuinely surprised (and secretly pleased, of course). A fair bit of that, even he himself wasn't aware of before.]

You... noticed all of that?

I've noticed more than that, you idiot. I've been with Luke his entire life, and you're you, and I'm getting to know you better each day. It's not that hard to tell you two apart.

[Asch just blushes a bit, absently lifting a hand to his forehead.]

[What a girl.] Might be too late for that, Asch.

[A-yup.] Wh- no it's not!

I'm afraid so. It looks a little to deep for repair; time might just finish the job your attitude started.
