[It's been almost a week since 'Luke' returned from his kidnapping, and over the past few days he's been trying to get used to his new... living arrangements. His mind is still something of a jumble, but despite that he's out and about, really exploring the village instead of wandering aimlessly from the mountains. More than likely, he'll be lurking close to the houses of people he knew, as either Luke or Asch, though he's too antsy to knock or say hello. He's also carting around the Key of Lorelei, the sword Asch had before.

As he walks, he'll be randomly jotting down a seemingly randomized set of numbers. Though some might find it familiar:]

[...Yeah, he's definitely still a bit scatterbrained. Bother hiiiiim.]

[On the last day of the experiment, Stella ended up climbing the mountain after all... only to get her foot stuck and twisted in a crevice. Thankfully, Senel rushed out to rescue her. Now she's still recovering, although heal spam managed to speed up the process. Any day now, she should be able to walk and run without pain.

Right now, however, she still has a slight limp as she heads out to the tallest tree. She did leave Senel's Alliance Marine outfit up there, after all. It's her responsibility to get it back! ... But here's a sight along the way.]

A... sch? [That's how he looks like from the back, anyway, even though the spikes are deceiving and uncockatiel-like...]

[dissonates]

[He turns at her voice, recognition clear in his expression, though she might find the lost look awfully familiar.] It's Luke, Stella- remember?

[She does - and it makes her blink hard before she nods slowly.] Ah... right. Luke! Are you well?

[dissonates]

[He shrugs, shifting his gaze away and looking somewhat unimpressed.] I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking?

...Nevermind, it's fine. [He shrugs. Be nice, Lusch.] Sorry.

It's all right. [She'll move closer, favoring the right leg a little, and leans to get into his line of vision.] I'm simply concerned for a friend, as I usually am.

[dissonates]

[He shifts back a bit, caught off guard by her sudden proximity, and focuses on the first distraction he can find.] ...What's wrong with your leg?

Oh... I injured it during that last experiment. It was... a little embarrassing.

[dissonates]

You chose a dangerous job? [He heard about the experiment from Natalia, but he hasn't talked to many people yet. This does sound a little entertaining.]

A... daredevil, of sorts. I chose to climb a mountain as my... daring performance.

[dissonates]

And you hurt your leg.

[Oh, Stella.]

Shouldn't you just heal it?

My ankle. [B|] And I've been doing that... slowly. The pain is mostly gone now.

[dissonates]

...Hm. [He considers her for a moment, then steps forward a little and crouches down, lifting his hand to hover slightly over her leg, fingertips glowing.]

[She's a bit surprised, so it slips out as he kneels:] Asch...? [Before she shakes her head.] Luke?

[dissonates]

[He lifts his head at that, eyes widening a little, before hastily looking back to where he's working.] I'm Luke.

[She looks away as he works, wondering if that's really the case. But she won't pry right now, not while he's in the middle of a spell. She knows how frustrating it can be to heal someone and be distracted.]

[dissonates]

[He does what he can for her, hoping she'll ignore the mistake. It only takes a moment - his skills are better than Luke or Asch when they were separated, but only marginally - before he straightens up, scratching at the back of his head.] Does that help?

[Stella slowly lowers her foot to the ground and leans her weight on it. There's a little sting in her ankle, but it's definitely better than it was before. Just another night of rest and it should be just fine. And there's not automatic urge to favor it, either.]

Yes... It's much better. Thank you.

[He nods in awkward approval, shifting from foot to foot.] Take it easy, anyway. You don't want to hurt it again.

[He's so cute. Stella reaches out to rest a hand on his upper arm.] You've always been so kind to me. [Honestly, that's for both Luke and Asch. Because this behavior is a lot like the both of them.]

[He reddens a little at that, lifting his own hand to touch hers.] It was just a bit of healing magic, no big deal.

Even still... I'm thankful. [With a little squeeze, she lowers her hand.]

...I'm just glad you're feeling better. [Stella, you make everything easier.]

So am I. [Now she lets out an exasperated sigh, places her hands on her hips, and looks off towards where she intends to go. Senel's uniform might be visible from here.] But I still have to clean up the mess I made.
