[It's been almost a week since 'Luke' returned from his kidnapping, and over the past few days he's been trying to get used to his new... living arrangements. His mind is still something of a jumble, but despite that he's out and about, really exploring the village instead of wandering aimlessly from the mountains. More than likely, he'll be lurking close to the houses of people he knew, as either Luke or Asch, though he's too antsy to knock or say hello. He's also carting around the Key of Lorelei, the sword Asch had before.

As he walks, he'll be randomly jotting down a seemingly randomized set of numbers. Though some might find it familiar:]

[...Yeah, he's definitely still a bit scatterbrained. Bother hiiiiim.]

[And she lets out a low whine. Luke? What about Asch? She may really like Luke, but Asch... is special.]

[He's quiet for a long moment again, shivering. It had never been his intention to make her sad, but...]

Asch is... gone. But he's here... I'm here.

[It's all he can offer, now.]

[But... There's a little bit of Asch in there. He might ignore it, but Ammy refuses to. So, she gives a little whine again, leaning in to nose his cheek once more and even give a light lick. It's okay. As long as he's coping with this, Ammy will help him out as much as she can. But she won't accept that Asch is gone.]

[He doesn't respond to that- just draws back a bit and keeps petting her, scratching lightly behind an ear. You're a good friend, Ammy, a real comfort. But pushing away the side of him would probably make life a lot easier.]

[Who cares if it makes life harder? She can't push away or forget anyone, especially not a friend. She leans into that touch again, tail starting to wag slowly.]

[But he does, Ammy. :c He keeps petting her, though, because he doesn't know what else to do. With her, with himself, with anyone else.]

[Well then, let's try something. She pulls away, only to let a bouquet of flowers grow in the spot where she was.]

[....Holy snap, Ammy, are those flowers in the snow fffff.]

[Uh-huh. Now she crouches her upper body down and starts to wag her tail fiercely. C'mooon, play with her!]

[Whoa, whoa.] What're you doing?

[Pssst, this is the part where you try to chase her. She dashes to the left! Then she stops a few feet away, getting back into her earlier position!]

[Wh- ...fff, oh, you.] You want to play?

[She shuffles her front paws into the ground, digging them into the soil a little. Yes! Come play with her!]

[He glances around to see if anyone's lurking, then shrugs and starts to follow. He can't really remember playing with a dog before, but hey, why not.]

[You're playing with a wolf, man. A GODDESS WOLF. She crouches down a little lower as she approaches, and then darts to the left side once he's close enough, even going for a leap in the air!]

[He'll probably never get that right, fyi, Ammy. :| He does take chase, however, darting back and forth, dodging a bit. Things might look up sooner or later.]

[Ammy darts back and forth too, mostly trying to remain in the same spot... And now she charges!]

[He is STANDING HIS GROUND. Bring it, wolfie!]

[And at the last moment, she does a hard turn and dashes out to the side!]

[Or this would happen if there weren't snow on the ground. Instead, she skids on the snow and is on a collision course with Squishdofluffles knees!]

[Which results in him falling right on his ass in a mess of robes, red hair, and fur. Woo! Good job, Ammy.]

[WEREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE STANDING YOUR GROUND? Good job, man. Ammy's tangled up in his legs now, and she's giving him a look.]

[And she gets a look right back, because that was totally your fault.] ...What're you looking at me like that for?

[No man that was totally your fault, Amaterasu does not make mistakes. 8| But she sighs and attempts to get out of this tangle.]

[He wrestles himself free as well, dusting snow off his robe/overcoat. They were lucky they didn't get stabbed or something :|]
