[It's been almost a week since 'Luke' returned from his kidnapping, and over the past few days he's been trying to get used to his new... living arrangements. His mind is still something of a jumble, but despite that he's out and about, really exploring the village instead of wandering aimlessly from the mountains. More than likely, he'll be lurking close to the houses of people he knew, as either Luke or Asch, though he's too antsy to knock or say hello. He's also carting around the Key of Lorelei, the sword Asch had before.

As he walks, he'll be randomly jotting down a seemingly randomized set of numbers. Though some might find it familiar:]

[...Yeah, he's definitely still a bit scatterbrained. Bother hiiiiim.]

[And in the plaza is where he'll be, sitting on the ledge of the fountain and gazing off towards the mountains.]

[Guy ambles up after some time and just plops down next to Luke, elbows resting on his knees.]

[He doesn't respond - barely reacts, glancing sidelong at him and keeping silent.]

Gald for your thoughts. [Guy returns the sidelong glance.]

I'll owe you when we go back home. [Guy's smile, much as he tries, grows very, very tight.]

...Neither do I. [Part of him had already decided. He wasn't sure about the other part.] Would you go, if I said I wanted to?

Hm. [He lowers his head, remaining still for a moment, then leans a bit, back resting against Guy.]

[Guy glances over his shoulder at Luke before facing forward again, hunching his shoulders a bit. Then he draws some of his hair around to start playing with it. It's all a solid red, no orange tips at all.]

[No darkened tips, either. Perfect fusion, really.]

...You're too dependent on me.

[Guy stiffens and drops Luke's hair, but doesn't move away. After some time, he answers in a low voice.]

...I know.

[He quiets down again, waiting for a long moment. Finally he turns around, reaching up and tugging Guy against his chest.] You're being stupid.

[Again, Guy doesn't move, instead just staring blankly up at the sky before he responds flatly:] Don't do this to me.

Don't do it to yourself. [He's not letting go.] You think I don't know?

I mean it, Luke. [Guy purses his lips for a moment.] You have have his memories -their memories- but we both know you aren't the same person. It's not the same.

[....

And just like that, Luke pushes him away, facing the opposite direction once more.] Why'd you come out here, Guy?

[Guy sways a bit at the shove, but just straightens his jacket and draws a leg in to hold his ankle, giving Luke his back as well.] I wanted to check up on you.

Why do you even care? If I'm not the same person...

[He hunches over, hugging his knees.]

But you won't let me get close to you, either.
