[It's been almost a week since 'Luke' returned from his kidnapping, and over the past few days he's been trying to get used to his new... living arrangements. His mind is still something of a jumble, but despite that he's out and about, really exploring the village instead of wandering aimlessly from the mountains. More than likely, he'll be lurking close to the houses of people he knew, as either Luke or Asch, though he's too antsy to knock or say hello. He's also carting around the Key of Lorelei, the sword Asch had before.

As he walks, he'll be randomly jotting down a seemingly randomized set of numbers. Though some might find it familiar:]

[...Yeah, he's definitely still a bit scatterbrained. Bother hiiiiim.]

[His response is kind of worrisome, so after a moment, he murmurs] ...We are, aren't we?

[He nods slowly at that, turning away.] We'll always be friends. It's okay. It's okay...

[Emil has no idea what's going on, but he nods.]

[Slowly he turns back, glancing at Emil - and Sial - and offers up a little smile.] Maybe... we could meet again?

Y-yeah, maybe... maybe when you're feeling better. You must still be tired from being kidnapped like that.

That's probably for the best. I don't feel like getting bitten.

I'm really sorry about Sial-- I don't know what's gotten into him.

[Action]

[dissonates]

He can probably tell that there's something wrong, I don't know.

I'll leave him at home next time just in case.

So, um... I guess I'll see you later, then.

Yeah.

[He turns away, starting to leave, then pauses, seeming to reconsider.]

...Emil, hold on.

[Action]

Huh?

I'm... not Luke. Not the Luke you know, at least.

... w-what? What... what do you mean? You remember me, right? So...

[Action]

[dissonates]

I remember you. [He lowers his head, hands clenching into fists.] You know... what Luke was, right? What Luke and Asch were?

[Action]

[knightofratatosk]

[Emil pauses for a moment to think before answering.]

Luke told me that he was a copy of Asch-- a replica made from his data. Why? Why does that matter? He's still Luke!

[His voice is rising in pitch now.]

[Action]

Calm down.

[Don't have a spazz, he's not done confusing you.]

On our world, they're called perfect isofons. And... perfect isofons always eventually become one person instead of two.

Like... like Sora and Roxas. They have to become one too...

[Action]

[dissonates]

[He doesn't really know them, so he shrugs.] That's who I am. I'm... what's left of them.

[Action]

[knightofratatosk]

[He's silent for a moment, looking down at the snow and clenching his fists.]

... I want them back.

[Action]

[dissonates]

[That doesn't surprise him at all.]

I can't fix this. There's no going back.
