...How old do you have to be on your world before you're considered an adult? Is there some kind of party or ceremony you have to go through?

Well, every country has their own army usually -- if they're big enough anyways. Marines aren't part of any country, they're the police and army force of the world government.

The biggest military on my world is devoted to the Order of Lorelei, an organization of believers. Most of the world revolves around those beliefs.

Strange. I guess that makes it still political, but pretty bizarre. Is Lorelei a person or supposed to be a god?

Lorelei's the aggregate sentience of the seventh fonon. [Wait that probably makes no sense to him.] ...It's more or less a legend.

...More like a god, but that's not really it. Fonons are the basic form of matter on Auldrant. When a large amount of fonons gather together, they become sentient. That's what Lorelei is.

I'm just not understanding how fonons apparently just come together and turn into a living thing. It sounds like molecules or proteins just randomly combusting into life.

I don't really understand it either, I'm not a fonic researcher. I have spoken with Lorelei, though, so I know it exists.
