[Not that he's told anyone, but the 24th is a pretty important date. It's left Asch in kind of a weird mood. Between this and the upcoming draft ~~shut up I know I'm late~~ he's venturing ever so slightly out of his usual "ignore everyone" shell. You may now die of shock.]

...How old do you have to be on your world before you're considered an adult? Is there some kind of party or ceremony you have to go through?

For those unfamiliar with the Abyss world, one's 20th birthday is v. important, and Auldrant's year is actually 700+ days long, and... yeah, I was a colossal geek and figured out what day would be Asch's 20th. tl;dr he's old now.]

So there are two paths for your world, one that follows this Score and one that doesn't. That means all you have to do is find a way to choose which of the two paths you want things to follow, and then you'll be able to choose your own future if you want to instead of letting the Score control it for you.

It's not stupid. But it's impossible now; people are too easily blinded to make that kind of choice. It's all or nothing for them, so the Score has to be forbidden.

They couldn't be taught? I mean, people in my world used to really hate half-elves, but now they're realizing that they aren't so bad after all. Sure, some people still hate them, but they're also valued for their knowledge and stuff. That's a big change from the way things were two years ago.
