I'm looking for an experienced weapon-based fighter who's not afraid to risk their life in a spar. I prefer swordsmen, but what I need right now is someone who can attack from a distance, dodge effectively, and defend themselves.

I won't lie and say it isn't dangerous. Don't offer if you're afraid of getting hurt.

And since Asch is just itching to get out of the house - awkward home situation is awkward - he'll be spending most of the afternoon/evening in the bar, practicing his drink mixes and trying to get a better feel for bartending. He's feeling just as socially clumsy as ever but a recent confidence boosting has him sort of... cheerful. Well, his version of cheerful, which is more or less just >:| with less > but hey. Baby steps. He's up for bothering and might actually be decently talkative. ....Just don't hold your breath.]

[Asch'll just be chilling inside the bar when he shows up- or as much as Asch chills, anyway. He probably looks pretty serious regardless of how he feels.]

[About fifteen minutes later, Yuri will be showing up at the bar, looking around for Asch. ... It'll probably take a few minutes -- he sort of forgot Asch works there and was looking in the wrong areas. Regardless, he'll be heading over once he spots him.]

[Sup, Yuri? Asch glances up at his voice, lifting a brow. Where else would he be D|]

I have a certain technique I've never been able to use in battle because it's too dangerous. I'm looking to change that, but I need people who can attack me from a distance to test it out.

It's called hyperresonance- the power to dismantle any kind of matter at an atomic level.

... Yeah, I can see how that'd make a spar a little more life threatening than usual. [ ... ] You can control it and all that, right?

Yeah. I just haven't used it in combat because of how dangerous it is.

I see ... [... Hm. He said he can control it, and he didn't sound unsure about that ... that and, from what he knows of him, Asch isn't incompetent or anything ... so ...] ... So, when do want to test it out? [Apparently the repeated warning of it being dangerous and the threat of dismantlement at an atomic level isn't enough for Mr. Lowell to think twice about this whole thing. ~~Probably because he has no idea what an atomic level even IS but shhh~~.]

[Asch isn't exactly surprised by the lack of caution - he's never pegged Yuri for a coward - but he still hadn't expected so many responses, especially after hearing what hyperresonance can do.]

I have a few offers for sparring already, but I'm free most of the week. Just pick a day.
