[There isn't much less pleasant than waking up cold and alone, is there? Which is exactly how Asch finds himself this morning- on his own in a tent behind the battle dome, no longer an adult but rather regressed to the tender age of about 11. In his haste to get up and figure out what's going on, he knocks over the journal, and it catches his alarmed call as he opens the tent flap to find a lot of snow and not much else.]
...Master Van...?
[This isn't the cozy, temperate region of Daath, which is puzzling, because he knows he'd been in Daath the night before. Where, then...?]
Master Van!
[Had he been abandoned? No... Van had said he needed him! There must be a reason for this.
Not noticing the journal, Asch tucks the blanket around himself and starts shuffling out through the snow, wandering into the village in search of something - anything - familiar.]

It'll take only a minutes to get to the Community Building, even with her speed, but they get there, and Miya bounds up the stairs just as quickly as she ran. When she's outside the door, she slows to a halt and bumps the door open with her nose before stepping inside.
The place was dusty, and the living room was absolutely littered with scrolls and unfinished paintings (not to mention crumpled up ones), but Miya seemed to pay it no attention for the moment. She just stood, waiting for Asch to get down and wondering where she put all her spare blankets.]

Before she goes off to pull off some thick blankets from the bed, she mutters to him, nuzzling against his hair.]
Sorry if I scared you... I just didn't want you out in the cold anymore. Are you okay? You can take a bath here if you need to but make sure the water isn't hot, just warm. [There wasn't a fireplace, unfortunately, lest she'd offer that, too.]
[Action]
I-I'm fine. Just... leave me alone...

She doesn't say anything, but shakes her head. No. She'll stay out of your way if need be, but she won't leave.]

...HE CAN'T ESCAPE LIKE THIS.]

Noting Asch's tension - oddly, it seemed like she could feel it somehow - the wolf laid down, putting his head on her paws. The tail was soon curled around her and she watched him a moment later before closing her eyes.]
You should sleep.
[Action]
Sleep, however, does; exhaustion sets in before too long, and eventually he starts to doze off. Maybe he can get away in the morning or something.
Or Master Van will come for him. Surely he will...]
