[Action]

[Asch hasn't really been sleeping well for the past few months; since the house became more... crowded, shall we say, and he and Guy started sleeping separately all the time. After the draft (and that one night with Guy there again) things got worse again, and tonight, for no particular reason, he wakes silently and in a cold sweat, sitting up awkwardly in his bed. Stupid dreams... he'd be much happier without any of them. And he never feels like going back to sleep after one of those, so he immediately gets out of bed, dragging on a robe and heading out into the hall. At first he glances over at Guy's door, lingering for a moment. To stay, or to go...

...maybe later. Instead, he grabs a mug of tea from the kitchen and heads outside, ignoring the cold and the snow- the robe's enough. He'll be watching the stars and the horizon for a while.

Well before the sun rises, he'll head back inside, going to Guy's door instead of his own. It only takes him a moment to step into it, but rather than walking right over, he lingers at the door for a while, hesitating.]

FIRST IS THE NEW LAST

[Guy is dead asleep, Asch. You'll have to make up your mind on your own. 8|]

[BUT HE WAS OUTSIDE SO HE'S STILL COLD.

It's enough to wake Guy up and he makes a low, sleepy sound before rolling over and groping blindly on the bed next to him. He grabs Asch's arm, opens his eyes for just a second before relaxing back on the bed. His voice sounds faraway; oh God he's probably still asleep.]

Luke, His Grace told you to... [Guy trails off before picking back up again, STILL SLEEPY SOUNDING] Stop sneaking in here.

[What-

What-

The abrupt movements jolt Guy awake and he pushes himself up, glancing around in confusion until he spots a trail of long red hair passing his doorframe. Asch? What in the world-

Guy throws his covers back and follows him.]

Asch- Hey, Asch! What are you doing?

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 11:40 am (UTC)(link)
Hey-

Hey! [Guy reaches out and snags the back of Asch's shirt and he yanks.] Don't ignore me, what happened? What's wrong?

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 11:46 am (UTC)(link)
[Guy pointedly does not let go.]

If I knew what was wrong, I wouldn't be asking you.

[He doesn't let go, but he does slide his grip down to hold onto Asch's hand instead.] C'mon, what is it? Why'd you leave? [Guy wracks his brain; did he do something? Say something? He feels like maybe he said something weird...]

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 11:49 am (UTC)(link)
I said something? [OH GOD WHAT WAS IT?]

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh dear.]

Did I?

...I'm sorry, I don't remember. I must've still been half-asleep.

[Guy gives Asch's hand a light tug and tries on a sheepish smile.] C'mon, you were trying to get in bed with me, right? Let's go back.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Asch, come on, please? It was an accident. You know that if I was conscious I wouldn't ever confuse the two of you. [Guy doesn't let go.]

There. [Guy lifts his hands to hold Asch's face and kisses him briefly before leading him back to his own bedroom.

He climbs into bed and holds the covers up for Asch to join him, scooting over to the side.]

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
[Guy, unaware of all of this, just scoots close and wraps his arms around Asch. He's pretty cold still, but Guy and his blankets are still warm and he's more than happy to share the heat with Asch.]

Mmm, this is much better than sleeping apart.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
You were upset with how things were before. Why would I want to go back to that?

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Oh- Ha ha! Yes, of course I'd like to share a room with you again. I was just waiting for you to bring it up.
