[Asch is hoping that a certain someone will get the message, but he doesn't lock it or anything. If she ignores it, it's not like he has to acknowledge it later.

...That's Asch-logic, anyway.

Message sent, though, Asch won't be sticking around the house too much today. With Luke hacking up a lung every few minutes, there's no point in trying to rest there. He'll check on Natalia first- whether she's at home or still recovering in the battle dome hospital, though whether she's in the dome or not he'll get some training done. His simulation involves being hopelessly outnumbered in a very white room full of intricate statues. And he leaves very disgruntled. (Why does he do this crap to himself, seriously.)

...He'll also raid the medical cabinets for sleeping pills, though for Luke or himself, who can tell?

On the way home he'll spend some time in the plaza picking up supplies. All in all it's a very uninteresting day in the life of Asch the Bloody.]

[Guess who's also out in the plaza? Stella has a list of things to get for the household, and she already has a basket with supplies in it... but she's got a lot more to go. Not to mention stopping by the general store to see if there's anything interesting to pick up... hmm.

But hey, wasn't that long red hair she saw out of the corner of her eye? Upon further investigation - it is! She smiles and shifts the basket hanging on her arm to a more comfortable spot, then heads over to greet him.]

Asch!

[Asch glances back; he hadn't expected anyone to interrupt him. He relaxes somewhat when he sees who it is, though.]

Do you need something?

No, not particularly. [Once she reaches his side, Stella pauses, then holds up the list in her hand with a helpless smile.] Well, except for a whole list of things...

[Said list has what most grocery lists would have - merely the necessities. Food, other little things they may need, LOTS of baking ingredients... and a note to herself to find more dry wood somehow, but that's all.]

... But I'll finish that in my own time. Are you here for the same reason?

[Asch peers briefly at the list, then shrugs his shoulders slightly.]

Not as much as you. [Are you cooking for the entire village or something. D|]

[That gets a light chuckle out of her as she drops the list in the basket.]

I have many mouths to feed! [What with Shirley and Fenimore AND Sophie being in the same house, and Stella placing herself in charge of doing most of the chores.]

Guy usually keeps us well-supplied, but he's... occupied. [Fawning over the stupid replica but HE'S NOT JEALOUS.]

So I've heard. [She was worried, at first; She could've sworn it was Asch's voice asking what to do if they're sick... But after peering for a while, she realized that Asch would never cut his hair like that, and so she assumed it was someone from the household.]

Are you getting away for a while, too?

[he hesitates, then nods with a slight scowl.]

It's too noisy there. ...It's annoying.

[And he keeps wanting to strangle the unwell. This is not good problem-solving. (And no, "he'll come back in a week" is not good rationale.)]

[Pfft. Oh, Asch. Stella doesn't laugh, though, only smiles a little more to herself. Asch, you haven't experienced noisy until you've experienced a toddler screaming at the top of her lungs in the middle of the night for you to get her some water.]

Everyone needs a break once in a while... [She looks up at him with a raised eyebrow.] Though I hope you don't plan on staying out in the woods again.

[Yeah, there is a very good reason why he does not have kids. ~~just a seven year old... something~~ He notes her smile and just scowls a little, recognizing that she's probably holding back a laugh for his sake. Though at least she's trying- most people don't bother.]

I won't leave the house. Not for good, at least. [Disappearing for x amount of hours still means he comes home now and then, right? Right.]

[Is she not allowed to smile in your presence, Asch. :| At least now it seems more relieved than humorous, after he assures that he's not going anywhere.]

Good. You wouldn't want me to follow you again, would you? [Judging by her expression, she totally would.]

[HE JUST KNOWS YOUR WILES, WOMAN

...And yes, he knows that expression too.]

Don't be absurd, I don't need anyone looking after me! And don't you have more important things to do?

[YOU TOTALLY NEED SOMEONE LOOKING AFTER YOU, but instead of pointing that out, she just lays a hand on his arm for a moment.]

Try not to consider yourself less important than other things around me, all right?

[Now. There happens to be a few things nearby that she needs on her list, so she grabs those and sets them in her basket. That's one more item down; she'll just cross that out on the list before she derps out and wonders if she forgot it or something.]

Besides, I wouldn't call it "looking after you". Maybe... "checking up on you" instead.

[He blinks at that, surprised for a moment before he conceals it. He doesn't think he needs people checking up on him either, but arguing the point is... well, pointless.

The first bit... maybe he should just ignore that. Acknowledging her words would be more awkward than he can handle right now.]

...Whatever, it's not like it matters to me what you call it.

Ooooh that's pretty!

[Message received! Though it takes a while for Miyabi to really get who the message is from.

Once she does get the message, and who it's from, however, it...takes a while for her to respond. What should she say? Should she apologize for overreacting, for getting so mad and insulted? Nnnngh...damn it all, this was making her head hurt way too much.

Finally, she replies, but not in the typical way. A single circle is drawn on the page of her journal before a single, pink cherry blossom pops from where it was drawn in Asch's journal. She heard you loud and clear.]

You draw well.

[And Guy will be waiting up for Asch when he gets home. Hey, he can't trust the brat not to just pack up and run off at a moment's notice so he might as well stay alert for the possibility, right?]

...It's supposed to be. [He'd be pretty fail if he drew an ugly butterfly.]

I suppose not. [She says with a shrug and a good-natured smile - She thinks it's important, but she's not surprised to hear that Asch doesn't.]

So, where do you plan to go after this?

[Asch taps his pen lightly on the page a few times, considering this. Eyes the cherry blossom. Pauses.

Idle conversation or compliments aren't his strong spots.]

...We need to talk.

[He'll get home ~~whenever he's done with Stella~~ later, but hopefully not too late, since. Yeah. Groceries. He'll put those away before he goes about doing anything else, unless Guy's waiting in the front hall like a sulking wife.]

[Or he could be lying off his ass /o/]

Probably just back to the house. [He lifts the groceries slightly. It would be kind of annoying to cart these all around the village after all.] ...Why?

[Excuse you sir, he is not sulking. He's reading.

[Oh hey here's another item she needs! She'll take that thank you.] It's been a while since I've seen you... After we take care of groceries, would you like to go somewhere for a while with me?
