[Asch is hoping that a certain someone will get the message, but he doesn't lock it or anything. If she ignores it, it's not like he has to acknowledge it later.

...That's Asch-logic, anyway.

Message sent, though, Asch won't be sticking around the house too much today. With Luke hacking up a lung every few minutes, there's no point in trying to rest there. He'll check on Natalia first- whether she's at home or still recovering in the battle dome hospital, though whether she's in the dome or not he'll get some training done. His simulation involves being hopelessly outnumbered in a very white room full of intricate statues. And he leaves very disgruntled. (Why does he do this crap to himself, seriously.)

...He'll also raid the medical cabinets for sleeping pills, though for Luke or himself, who can tell?

On the way home he'll spend some time in the plaza picking up supplies. All in all it's a very uninteresting day in the life of Asch the Bloody.]

[Yeah, there is a very good reason why he does not have kids. ~~just a seven year old... something~~ He notes her smile and just scowls a little, recognizing that she's probably holding back a laugh for his sake. Though at least she's trying- most people don't bother.]

I won't leave the house. Not for good, at least. [Disappearing for x amount of hours still means he comes home now and then, right? Right.]

[Is she not allowed to smile in your presence, Asch. :| At least now it seems more relieved than humorous, after he assures that he's not going anywhere.]

Good. You wouldn't want me to follow you again, would you? [Judging by her expression, she totally would.]

[HE JUST KNOWS YOUR WILES, WOMAN

...And yes, he knows that expression too.]

Don't be absurd, I don't need anyone looking after me! And don't you have more important things to do?

[YOU TOTALLY NEED SOMEONE LOOKING AFTER YOU, but instead of pointing that out, she just lays a hand on his arm for a moment.]

Try not to consider yourself less important than other things around me, all right?

[Now. There happens to be a few things nearby that she needs on her list, so she grabs those and sets them in her basket. That's one more item down; she'll just cross that out on the list before she derps out and wonders if she forgot it or something.]

Besides, I wouldn't call it "looking after you". Maybe... "checking up on you" instead.

[He blinks at that, surprised for a moment before he conceals it. He doesn't think he needs people checking up on him either, but arguing the point is... well, pointless.

The first bit... maybe he should just ignore that. Acknowledging her words would be more awkward than he can handle right now.]

...Whatever, it's not like it matters to me what you call it.

I suppose not. [She says with a shrug and a good-natured smile - She thinks it's important, but she's not surprised to hear that Asch doesn't.]

So, where do you plan to go after this?

[Or he could be lying off his ass /o/]

Probably just back to the house. [He lifts the groceries slightly. It would be kind of annoying to cart these all around the village after all.] ...Why?

Curiosity's sake?

[Oh hey here's another item she needs! She'll take that thank you.] It's been a while since I've seen you... After we take care of groceries, would you like to go somewhere for a while with me?

[Colour him surprised. He's not exactly the most popular for a social outing. ...Then again, it is Stella- she always seems to catch his attention more than most. She's just like that, for whatever reason.]

If you want. [It'll keep him out of the house, at least.]

[Precisely the reason she asked! \o/ But she really has missed seeing him - and all her friends, really. Stella's been holed up in her house for a while, just taking care of everything, and thus hasn't really had time for anything else.]

Of course! Do you think you'll be hungry by the time we meet?

[Another shrug. This is the day for noncommittal answers, clearly!] Probably. [Though it's likely he'll be done well before she is, considering that list of hers. ...Maybe he'll just lurk like the bored husband forced to go on his wife's shopping trip or something.]

[She'll pack some food anyway. And she realizes that she'll probably be finished later, too, considering how much she has to get done. So:]

Then it's a date. [She says with a grin, and she pats his arm before she moves away to grab some other things.] I'll stop by your house when I'm ready, all right?

[...D... did she just call this a date-

He's briefly derailed (thankfully), blinks, then shakes it off, nodding his head.]

Yeah. Just try to be quiet; if the dreck's sleeping I'd rather he not wake up and start coughing all over again.

[Stella looks down at the fruit in her hand, hiding that little smile on her face upon hearing that. He might have called him a dreck, but he still warned her about waking him up.

He might've just been tired of the coughing, but still. Stella likes to think otherwise.]

I'll be as quiet as I can.

[Unaware of Stella's conclusions, Asch just nods and turns away, heading off. He has other things to do before they can go out, so let's take care of all that, shall we?]

[Stella gives a little wave in return before she resumes her work, grabbing everything else she needs off her list. It takes some time, especially since she had to fret over not finding a few things, but eventually, she's back in her own home and putting things away while making a nice dinner for Asch. A handy multi-tasker, she is!

It's nearing sunset by the time Stella makes it to Asch's house, another basket in her arm to carry the food and drink she brought along. She knocks softly, just in case Luke is still asleep, and leans in a little to see if she can hear any sign of life in there.]

[Asch answers the door within a moment or so, and lo- he actually dressed up! Well, sort of. He changed his clothes (for hygiene's sake, all that battle dome stuff is sweaty work) and picked out a nice robe for himself, so he probably looks a little snazzier than usual. BUT HE'S NOT TRYING TO IMPRESS ANYONE OKAY]

I was wondering when you'd get here.

I had a few things to take care of.

[She's wearing a different outfit, too (also for hygiene's sake, because she walked around everywhere and did a lot of things at home), just a nice white blouse (with several ruffles in the middle) and a dark blue dress. Rather simple compared to his own outfit, and she glances it over before she smiles appreciatively.]

You look very nice.

[Does that mean he looks fancier than her lol

He nods slightly, glancing at her change of clothes before averting his eyes. She looks nice too. Very nice. But he doesn't notice that kind of thing. Damn. 8| Let's focus on the basket then.]

Are we eating here?

No, not here. Let's go elsewhere.

[And with that, she turns to lead the way!]

[Huh, alright then. He'll be following.]

Are we at least going inside?

Well, I wouldn't want you to freeze on our first outing in a while.

[Stella bumps his arm with hers as she says this, merely teasing.]

I'm not going to freeze. [Mumble grumble. He doesn't protest the bump, though, instead reaching out for the basket. Gimme, woman.]

[NOT SO FAST. Stella holds the basket up in the air as she wags her finger in a scolding fashion.] Now now, Asch, not until we get there!
