[And he's... not sure how he even feels about that, especially since it's the second time now. He's not the sort to broadcast his feelings on the matter anyway, so he'll leave it at that.]

If you've prepared everything you need, it's about time we meet.

[Asch won't be around the house much today; he'll probably be home late. His main haunts today will be the Battle Dome, the library, (maybe a quick bite to eat in the plaza |D) and finally Good Spirits to ~~sulk~~ read a book in a tucked-away corner of the bar. ...Though the amount of reading may decrease depending on what he's drinking over the course of the evening...

Oddly enough, Star the cheagle will be tagging along with him over the course of the day.]

[Dist gets the message about an hour later, but his response is almost immediate. Though he's honestly not sure if there's anything he could do at this point after staying up and pouring out all he knew from back home into private diaries and notebooks. Jade's theory...it was flawless. As much as he wanted to disprove it - perhaps a selfish reason - a part of his was so sure he couldn't.

Well...he did give Asch his word he'd try. That much, he could do.]

Understood. I'll see you at the Battle Dome's medical facility as soon as possible. [A pause.] ...And bring your little pet. The cheagle that I had experimented on. If it's capable of speech here, it may prove useful.

[As much as the little creature had tried to avoid him whenever he came over, Dist had caught glimpses of it out of the corner of his eye here and there.]

Honestly... Because, as I said, I had experimented on that particular cheagle. If it's the one I think it may very well be...then whatever information I get from it will be very helpful. Unless you'd like me to experiment on you instead, Asch. I wouldn't mind in the slightest, though I'd need to acquire a heavy sedative first...

[Dist laughs darkly, though he's very careful not to press his luck indeed. He wants answers just as much as Asch does, after all.]

Good. I'll see you and your pet soon enough.

[Dist closes his journal and makes his way to the Battle Dome. It was quite a walk, even though he was a little closer - being near the library and all - but he'll increase his pace and may relatively good time in arriving there.]

[Asch follows soon after, heading right into the medical center and ignoring his discomfort as he checks around for Dist. Star is clinging nervously to his shoulder, obviously not happy about what's about to happen.]

[Well too bad 8| There's a period of silence as Luke goes to make sure - not that he doesn't trust Asch, but... he just has to see for himself.

And... he's right. There's nothing left in Natalia's room except the bare essentials, as if she wasn't there at all. Luke just stares into the empty room for a moment, then grips the doorjamb, clenches his teeth and lowers his head.

Finally, he returns to the journal. What did Asch say again? Oh.]

... Yeah.

...am I a bastard for being a little bit relieved?

[It occurs to Asch that this is the first time someone close to him has been sent home. ...Hm. Well it's not like he's going to be gentle about it, but sending him to Guy at some point would probably make life easier for all of them.]

[It was better for her not to be in Luceti. A princess's place was with her people, after all... but that didn't mean he wasn't going to miss her.]

[You may find a familiar face at the Battle Dome when you get there Asch. Tear has decided to take advantage of the simulations to not only keep her skills up to par, but to relieve herself of the frustrations of the past few weeks. Natalia leaving just happened to be the too much for now.]

[Asch is in something of a somber mood, having just finished up with Dist, and the cheagle with him doesn't look any happier. He does notice one of the simulators in use, though, so for a good distraction he heads up to the viewing level to watch.

...Huh, he hadn't expected it to be Tear.]

[ a human with red hair... how unusual. well, she's starting to see most of Luceti is unusual -- but still, it's intriguing enough to catch her attention as she traipses about on one of the benches in the plaza.

with the help of a gust of wind, she'll make her way on over by skating over what ice is available. he'll even get a curious bit of birdsong in his ear -- it sounds rather like a question, though what is hard to decipher.

[The sound catches his ear- though it makes Star perk up, which is what causes Asch to notice it, himself. Was that... chirping? Quizzically? What the hell, how does that even work. Though considering birds can-

...wait, what the heck is that skating over to him? A winged bedpost?

Asch just sort of. Stares. Yeah.]

[ a winged bedpost indeed. when do you ever see a bedpost with earmuffs? you might get reindeer noises in your ear for that if she knew what you thought, Asch the Bloody.

she'll stop about a foot away from him, peering up with obvious curiosity -- though how it's obvious from a wooden doll, who knows.

though she's as yet unable to speak on her own, she can recreate sounds on the wind that she has heard before, and that includes human voices. the voice with which she speaks now is unusual, and not her own -- after all, it's a mix of Jack Sparrow, Sanji, Stella, and Marcell. but it serves, nonetheless, though the effect is a little distorted, like an echo. ]

[...Whoa, that is some weird feeling there. He's experienced voices in his head before - not just with Luke, but more recently with Mewtwo - but this is most definitely different. Not quite in his head, but he can hear it nonetheless. Somewhat baffled, he crouches down, tugging Star down from his shoulder and setting him down in the snow. The cheagle tiptoes forward, giving Kirsikka a little sniff.]

That was you?

[ ... such an endearing little creature. gently, with slow movements so as not to startle, Kirsi will hold out her little wooden arm to Star. at roughly the same time, Asch may feel a gentle, cool (but not cold) breeze stir his hair. ]

[...Definitely weird. But this is obviously some kind of enchanted thing, so he just brushes back his hair and tries to ignore it. Star nuzzles experimentally against the offered hand, checking her out.]

[This doesn't make much sense, though. It has a voice, but it doesn't? Very, very strange.]

[ she sounds ... genuinely disappointed. maybe they'd only spoken that one time, but ... they'd had plans to work together. not to mention... it's a sad thing whenever anybody goes home. though she won't say sorry -- not to Asch. maybe Luke, later... ]
