["I think you should sleep in your own room for a while, Asch."
He hasn't forgotten those words- despite Guy saying they're okay, they haven't exactly shared much living space lately. Since being banished from Guy's room, he hasn't spent a lot of time in the house, or speaking to anyone else in particular, really. Self-exile is one of his best talents, after all. And even though he can normally handle being on his own, he can't help but feel bothered by it- after all, it's Guy himself who told him it wasn't healthy, the last time they fought. It's the only thing that's kept him from outright leaving the house.
Eventually, he's had enough, though, so early this morning he heads to Guy's room, knocking briefly as a pointless warning before opening the door and peering in, calling out as he does so.]
Guy? We need to-

Guy doesn't often explode like that- almost never, in fact. And this has nothing really to do with Luke, he was just... conveniently there. And a replica. Useful for justification, really. If he hadn't shown up-
...But thinking like that is pointless. The fact of the matter is this: Guy is still angry. With him.
So it's not okay. It was never okay.
Asch closes his eyes briefly, swallowing back what he'd like to say for once. His instincts are to get the hell out, and that's just what he's going to do. Reaching out, he grabs the collar of Luke's shirt and turns away, heading out into the hallway and dragging Luke along with him, whether he likes it or not.]

He'd like to apologize to Guy and help him, but... in a way, he also wants to get out of there. Guy was angry, really angry, and over something that wasn't just the room. It had to be Asch, but... what had Asch done? He brought up some valid points over the replica thing, so... why?
Maybe Luke can sneak into Guy's room and put a few decorations in while he's away later. A flower or something, to give him something pleasant to look at while the room fixes itself. But for now, he just lets Asch drag him wherever he's going.]
eggy said to carry on so that is what I am doing |D
Dammit, dammit, dammit...
Belatedly he realizes Luke is still there, so he continues moving forward, heading for the kitchen.]
okay then |D
Before he can speak up, though, Asch starts to move. Well, Luke isn't going to let him get away, so he follows after him, remaining silent until they reach the kitchen.]
Asch... do you know why Guy's so mad?
no subject
...He's mad at me.
[And the rest is left unsaid: it's none of your business.]

But you didn't do anything... [Well. Nothing that's unexpected from a Fabre, anyway.]

Luke sputters at that and turns absolutely RED. That certainly threw him off, but he's determined to not be deterred, so he shakes his head to get his act together.]
How did-ugh, never mind, I don't want to know. But I do know that if something like this ever happened to us, I'd want someone to talk to and ask for help. I know I wouldn't want to be alone, so... I don't want you to be, either!

[...Okay, maybe he's a little bitter. Still.]

[Luke takes in a breath, shuts his eyes, then opens them again and loosens his fists a little.]
And if he won't, then I will.

Granted, this Luke hasn't experienced the Tower of Rem yet. But Asch knows; Asch remembers.]
Telling you won't change anything. He'll still be angry, I'll still be angry, and then you'll be involved. There's no point.
no subject
Luke wants to try something, anything. Even... Even if this is all he can do, at least it's something.]
What if I promise to not get involved? I'll back out and let you two handle it. I just want to know what happened, that's all.
[Then again, if it is something he needs to talk to Guy about...]

The kettle starts to boil, and he looks away from Luke, standing up and getting himself a mug. Tea first. Then he can pack up. Maybe if he gets rid of Luke before he finishes, no one even has to know he's going. ... Get it over with, then.]
During the last experiment I was with someone else. That's all.
[...Okay, not exactly all. It's kind of a lot.]
no subject
... Wait, that's it? But... But everyone was with someone else!
no subject
[What the hell do you mean, "that's it"? How is that not enough!?]
no subject
[This doesn't make sense. It was an experiment! Guy's more rational than this. He's been in Luceti far longer than Luke, so why the hell is he reacting like this?]

Guy was gone just as much as the rest of us. He didn't even make us any food, Asch. When has he ever done that? [He'd wake up and there'd be no breakfast. Not even any lunch. And just for that week, too.
There's no way Guy wasn't with someone. At least, that's what Luke thinks.]
no subject
Still... it's a little suspicious, isn't it. At the same time, he doesn't want to believe it- because that would mean that Guy's angry with him for doing the same thing he did. And that...
...is not the first time Guy's blamed him for something that wasn't his fault. Or taken his issues out on Asch. Or lie to him. Or lie to both of them. Or... hide everything because it's easier.
It takes the overspill of the tea - and prompt burning of his own hand - to make him realize he's shaking.]
