If it was anyone else, I'd probably say to tell them. Or tell everyone. But this is Van. He's not like any of the others.

Reasoning and her own culture and selfish desires (she wants to see his hair color again once she can - it's among her favorite colors) aside, Miyabi's not going to let him do it. And if she does, she'll disgrace herself with him.

Okay, there is an easier way to deal with this problem. She doesn't want to witness his hair-cutting? She doesn't have to! It's very simple.
