[Action]
[Since a certain someone's arrival, Asch has been kind of cranky and not particularly social, which has suited him just fine, besides having to endure appearing more pathetically lonely than usual. It's not like he really cares what other people think of him anyway (usually). Apparently there's some kind of party going on today, which makes him want to go out even less, so he's content to stay inside and keep out of the way. Parties? Not his thing.
But apparently some people have other ideas.
Eventually he will escape the party (greatly relieved to be away from it, whether he enjoyed himself at all or not), and will instead hang around outside the building trying to gather what's left of his dignity before he heads home. He just wants an uneventful walk in the dark (because it's always dark for him) and a long night's rest.
And apparently he's not allowed to do that, either.
Only when he makes it home does he finally take steps towards contacting a certain scientist who can get his body back to normal. Four months is long enough to be fumbling around in the dark without his replica nearby.]

She will be stopping by his house on her way to the ball, already done up in her dress and her hair is braided up, but she hasn't donned her mask quite yet.]
action;
She'd excused herself sneakily, claiming a "last-minute errand," hoping it might actually make the love of her life happy, to know Asch was actually doing something for once besides being all by himself.
Though, truly? It's more for Asch's sake than anything else. She does like him, after all.
So she's on the same trajectory as Rapunzel, and indeed nearly runs into her. She, too, is all dressed up, though similarly lacking her mask. ]
Oh! Sorry... [ Blinking at her. She recognizes the other girl, though they've not much spoken. What was her name....? ] ... Rapunzel?
action;
Yes! And you're...Xion, right? [She takes in her dress, and grins.] You look absolutely beautiful! You're going to the ball, too, then?
action;
Thank you! You do, too. And yeah, I am! But ... [ She ends up blinking again, curiosity reentering her expression. ] Why are you out here?
action;
Well, I was going to see if I could get Asch to come to the party. Do you know him?
action;
Uh huh! You know... I was doing the same thing. Think he'll listen to us?

...Well, okay, he'd be surprised if he could see them, but as it is he just stands in the doorway, staring blankly at a whole lot of nothing.]
Who's there?
action;
action;
Hello, Asch! We've come to bring you to the party.
[There, now he knows what he's in store for!]
action;
....
Wait, party?]
I'm not going, so you may as well just give up now.

There's going to be dancing--! And if you don't know how to dance, I'll teach you! Do you have something to wear?
action;
I don't- that isn't- I said I didn't want to go!
[Why does no one listen to him?]
action;
[ BECAUSE YOU'RE BORING, ASCH. And you need pretty, spunky ladies to help you live your life. Clearly. ]
action;
Exactly! That's the deal. Just come and if you don't have fun? You're free to go. That's a guarantee!
action;
Not interested.
action;
But she shoots Rapunzel a slightly despairing look. She doesn't want to force him, but... they've got to convince him to go somehow! ]
action;
But how will you know unless you go? This could be the most amazing night of your life!
action;
Do I look like someone who'd enjoy a party?
[And why is this so important?]
action;
[ With gentle humor, edging her way in. ]
Everyone deserves to have fun, Asch. You shouldn't just sit here all alone.
action;
[At least, she assumes he's by himself. After all, everyone ever is going to be at this party.]
action;
Yeah shut up.]
Parties are for- for social types. That's the exact opposite of what I am.
