When people say that, I wonder- what's the point of even adding the alcohol in the first place? To make yourself drunk without even noticing? It's reckless.

But you didn't even know me before just now. Unless you don't give your best to any customer, which I guess is the sorta thing a shoddy establishment would do.

Am I supposed to care about that? If they show up for their shifts and don't screw around, I could give less of a damn about their motivations.

I didn't mean getting that drunk, I meant just drinking enough to get a little tipsy. I can't understand why anyone thinks it's fun to drink so much you get sick either. It just doesn't seem like it's worth it to me.

Hey, people with the wrong motivations wind up screwin' up all the time. Or killin' their boss or somethin'.

Most people lack the restraint required to stop themselves before they get that drunk. That's part of the problem- alcohol is meant to lower inhibitions. You drink, and it makes you want to drink more.
