[Thus Asch returns triumphantly, woo. He splits off from Guy and beelines for the kitchen because dying makes Asch a hungry boy.]

[Asch shoots Luke a slightly irritated look, not particularly venomous, just annoyed by the staring. He ignores it and goes about getting himself some food.]

Welcome home.

[Asch pauses at that, halting in mid-reach as he glances over at Luke, then grabs what he was reaching for - bread - and goes back to sandwich-making. There's a long silence until he responds.]

...I didn't think I'd come back.

... I'm glad you did.

[Asch scoffs faintly, slapping a few slices of cooked chicken meat onto the bread.]
