[Asch is in a really lousy mood so he's lurking around house 50, sort of playing in the snow, except it's Asch and he doesn't do that. :| So he's mostly poking around looking VERY GRUMPY. Bother at your own risk.]

[Guy lays back but reaches out to set his hand on Asch's leg.] Tell me anyway.

Do you think that the replica being born from me, sharing my body, makes him family?

Guy suppresses a cough, and reaches for the glass of water to take a drink before answering warily.]

I...think that's up to the both of you.

[Asch is quiet for a while, mulling over that one.]

[Okay, not exactly, but he'd thought it, anyway. Sort of.]

[Guy sighed and pats Asch's leg; someone had gotten all up in his business and put him on edge, that's all. And here he was wondering if something truly bad had happened.]

Don't let it get to you, Asch. People say insensitive things all the time; sometimes, they don't even mean to.

[Asch's hands clench into fists.]

Why the hell do people have to meddle in business they don't know anything about? As if they're actually helping!

[Asch's temper is tiring.]

Like I said, don't let it get to you. Take things at your own pace, and don't worry ab- [cough cough] ...about what other people say.

[Asch looks like he's about to rant more, then halts, glancing sidelong at Guy as he coughs. Great, way to be considerate, Asch.]

... It's fine. You should be sleeping.

've slept enough. [Guy pats Asch's knee and gives him a lopsided smile.] I think I sensed you being angry somewhere and woke up.

[Skeptical Asch is skeptical, but the attempt to cheer him up isn't totally lost.]

So being sick makes you psychic now?

I'd have sensed it even if I wasn't sick. [Cough] You just must be upset enough to wake me up, is all.

[Asch's lips quirk a bit.]

You're being ridiculous.

[Have an Asch flopping down beside you, Guy.]

Don't get too close, you'll catch it. [Guy wriggles away. Reluctantly.]

[Asch follows anyway.]

Good, it'll give me an excuse to be a recluse for a few days.

[Oh fine, Guy wants the cuddles anyway. Asch is more comfortable than a pillow, even if he is still a little cold from being outside; Guy snuggles up.]

I don't wanna hear you complain.

[Asch snorts faintly at that, tugging Guy close to rest his head on his chest. He can cough on the jacket or something.]

Then you probably shouldn't have come looking for me.

Mmmnnnh. [Guy closes his eyes, mumbling against Asch's chest as he lays there, feeling a little better. Until he turns his head and grabs his pillow to cough into that instead.]

[Asch blinks, then muffles a little spot of laughter.]

You sound even worse than before. Do you need anything?

[Guy turns his head slightly so his words aren't muffled.]

Nope. Who was it?

[Asch looks away at that, glaring at the opposite side of the room.]

...Doesn't matter.

[Under normal circumstances, Guy would push the issue in that passive way he does but right now he just can't muster the energy to really try. Asch'll tell him if he says silent anyhow.]

Mmm.

[And for once Asch is going to defy Guy-logic and not give an answer, turning back to Guy and brushing a hand through his hair. He feels warm, nearly feverish.]

...If doesn't matter. You need to be resting.

[A snort.]

I am resting. You can talk and I can listen, and that'd still be resting.

I mean you should be sleeping. You'll probably feel a lot better if you do.

[Oh fff, don't give Guy that angry face, Asch.]

You could tell me what's bothering you and put my mind at ease so I can sleep.
