[Asch is in a really lousy mood so he's lurking around house 50, sort of playing in the snow, except it's Asch and he doesn't do that. :| So he's mostly poking around looking VERY GRUMPY. Bother at your own risk.]

[Almost. She sits down in front of it and stares at the head. No eyes, no mouth. It doesn't look right without them...

A few dots in her mind later, and there's a :) expression made out of ink on the snowman, and she looks up at Asch with a lightly wagging tail. Doesn't it look so happy?!]

[OH MY GOD THE SNOWMAN IS POSSESSED.]

[Oi.]

[Asch gives the snowman a thorough examination and then looks suspiciously at Ammy. What did you do, you crazy dog.]

[Wolf, you Cockatiel. She just tilts her head, but if Asch looks close... Is that a sly smile on her face?]

[Okaaaay dog is kind of creepy now. Have an Asch staredown.]

Now what do you want?

[She breaks the staredown to nudge his hand again, this time letting his fingers run through the fur at the top of her head. Isn't her fur soft?]

[Hell if he knows, he's smart and is wearing gloves. Still he gets the idea, grumbling a bit, and crouches down to pet her.]

What are you, starved for attention or something? Couldn't you have picked out someone more friendly?

[Oh, I've met plenty of friendly people. I'm just moving on to grumpy-chans like you. Sometimes petting something like this is good for you.

So, she lets him pet her, moving her head so that he does it right. Have you never petted a dog in your life?]

[Evidently not, but he's a quick study. After a while he figures that he's not getting out of this anytime soon and pulls off a glove to pet her properly. Ooh, that is nice soft fur. Maybe the dog isn't a total irritation after all.]

[You're doing much better, Grasshopper. She's not squirming so much anymore, and she'll even add in a little tail wag. This works both ways, too, considering she still has no idea where she is or anything.]

[Her tail is wagging. That's... good, right? Right. Tail-wagging is good. Here, have a headscratch. Maybe she'll like that.

....Soft fur is so nice.... he may or may not be smiling now.]

[Yes, that is good. Headscratches are very good oooh, that tail is wagging more now, and she's gonna lean into that. You're getting better at this! Let's not point out that smile on his face just yet.]

[Huh. This whole... petting... thing is not as daunting as it originally seemed. Okay, so maybe the dog isn't so annoying after all.

Though she did force him to play in the snow. Then again, it's not like she's going to broadcast it, unless she's just holding her tongue for the sake of nefarious purposes.

Are you somebody's pet? You're awfully friendly for a wild dog.

[Someone's pet? Ha! She has to give a sort of snort at that. No, man, I'm just a goddess. To answer him, she shakes her head lightly in a "no" gesture.

[Okay, that clears up the whole 'not understanding', bit, the dog obviously gets what he's saying. Now he gets to decide just how nice he feels like being while he keeps up with the scritching. She's... sort of cute... in an ethereal big-bad-wolf way. With weird tattoos. ...Whatever.]

[And meanwhile, she's going to do what she hopes will be icing on the cake. She leans her head back, enough to find his hand again, and gives the back of it a lick.]

[Dog lick ewwww. Except actually that was also really cute. God damn animals, weaseling their way into the human heart.]

Hungry?

[Yeah, okay, he doesn't know how to deal with animals at all, nevermind the whole warm fuzzy idea, but he's trying.]

[Always! She nods to that and stands up, the tail continuing to wag. Wow, playing in the snow, petting, and now feeding? You're not so bad, Cockatiel!]

[You're lucky you're not talking mutt, because you'd be getting a snowman on your head if you called him that. But since she seemed enthusiastic about it, he stands up and heads for the house to find some food. Now what the hell do you feed a dog...?

[Just feed her anything, she'll eat it. And indeed she does, sniffing at most everything she comes across. After a moment of this, she lets out a quiet whine, only because it's just too far and too different from Nippon and the region of Kamui.]

[Well, they don't have any dog food - probably a good thing because she's not a dog, not that Asch knows any better. The best he's got is apparently some leftover chicken from the last time he made stir fry. He's tempted to give her the fish but Guy would give him that woeful look if he did. The whine gets an irritated misinterpretation, though.]

I'm looking already. Show some patience.
