[Oh, it's you. >:|]

[Guy's sitting up and thumbing through his journal, but glances up at Asch upon his entrance with a smile. His voice is a little ragged, but he sounds and looks much better off.]

Hey. Seems like I missed some things.

[Asch doesn't bother hiding his relief at Guy's improvement, heading over to sit beside him on the bed.]

Nothing important. Luceti's been quiet the past few days.

Mmm. [Guy doesn't look up from his journal.]

...I'm sorry I scared you.

[What. I thought we were bffs, Asch ): I was getting bff bracelets made and everything.]

... right.

[Auto-defense: activate.]

I wasn't scared.

[Pfffffft. Oh, Yuri. You know he doesn't mean it. Next think you know he'll be joining Brave Vesperia.]

You're free to bother him in a few days. Until then, he needs things quiet.

[And then the next day, the universe dies.]

Got it. I'll leave him alone until then. It's not too bad or anything, is it?

Oh. Never mind then.

[Stupid Guy, stupid self. He's not going to admit it, but he is going to reach out and grab your hand, holding a little more tightly than normal. Just a silly fever, that's all it was. Nothing to get freaked out about.]

That's good news. Just tell him I'll look after it. I don't mind.

He's better than he was yesterday. If he keeps improving at this rate he'll be fine by the end of the week.

Alright then. He'll be grateful.

[You stubborn punk. Guy squeezes Asch's hand in return and just lays his journal on his lap, perusing and generally catching up.]

It's no problem at all. Just tell him he better rest, or I'll have to punch him.

[After a while Asch leans over, half-resting against Guy, though not putting much weight on him since he's sick and all, peering down at the journal with him. He's not sure about what to say - still no good at that - so he just gives Guy some time to read. All he really wanted was the company, anyway.]

I don't think that'll be necessary.
