[Accidental Voice Post]

[Silence for a while, and then a quiet groan, seemingly out of nowhere; apparently Guy's gone and left Asch's journal open in case he wakes up while no one's around.]

... nngh...

...dammit...

[ooc: awake, but semi-incoherent. Be nice to the poor boy?]

Ah... So you've finally awakened, Asch?

You had given your compatriots quite the scare there, you know.

Now, honestly, Asch. I'm trying to show compassion towards you here.

You were already beginning to stir. Besides, I'm certain a number of others have already bothered you.

Well... If you're really willing to talk...

[Jade's tone grows serious, and he switches the channel to Private.]

From the sound of your injuries, I take it you had met your fate at Eldrant.

[And it does indeed give him the answer.]

You should consider yourself lucky to have survived, then.

From where I come, you've been dead for two years now. But it seems the Malnosso had other ideas in mind for you.

Oh, nothing.

I just find it rather curious that the Malnosso would return you to Auldrant, only to later bring you back upon your death there.

I'd have to object to that, Asch.

They use a rather systematic approach in how everything is done here in Luceti, from kidnappings to experiments to their eventual releases.

From a scientific standpoint, their methods make quite a lot of sense. Even the so-called 'mistakes' that take place here seem to actually be part of their plans.

From what I've gathered, however, you're hardly the only one who had been returned and re-abducted, though.
