[Silence for a while, and then a quiet groan, seemingly out of nowhere; apparently Guy's gone and left Asch's journal open in case he wakes up while no one's around.]

... nngh...

...sorry. Give me a couple days of you conscious and I'll be back to my bubbly self.

It's alright. I'm not exactly up for joking around myself. I... I wasn't ready to die again.

[Falling silent. Guy does stroke his hand though.]

[Bah, enough of that. Asch may not be able to get up yet, but he can use his mouth just fine. C'mere, you, you're getting tugged down for a kiss.]

[Well okay, Guy won't object to that. He doesn't put the usual fire into it though; no use getting them both excited for something neither of them could have.]

[That's okay, it's not supposed to be a "take me now" kiss but rather a "happy to see you again" thing.]

[Good, because Guy has plenty of that for the kiss. He's very, very happy to see you again, Asch.]

[Asch knows, and he is sorry :c But now he's back and he wants you to stop worrying, so he's going to try and sit up to kiss you more~]

[You sneaky devil, back down. Guy breaks the kiss to gently ease Asch back down.] Don't, you'll get dizzy.

I won't get dizzy... [He says that because he already is, pupils kind of dilated and skin more pale than it ought to be. Someone's going to be anemic for a while.]

Yeah, you will. [Guy strokes Asch's hair, noting his pale skin. He's worried, but...Asch'll be fine. He'll be okay.]

I'm going to get you some chicken broth. You need to start eating now that you're awake.

[Asch doesn't argue, letting Guy bully him back down. He's tired and yes, he's hungry, so the idea of getting food makes him smile a bit.]

...Sounds good.

[Asch wanting to eat is a great relief, so Guy smiles and combs his fingers through Asch's bangs -which are down, and make him look rather handsome in his opinion- before making for the kitchen to heat up some broth.]

[Asch is too tuckered to notice, so Guy gets some eye candy for a while, lucky boy. While Guy's off he's going to nap a bit, because he is kind of exhausted here.]

[La la, kitchen things. Hopefully Asch is resting while Guy does all these things.

After a while Guy returns with a bowl of hot broth and is relieved to find Asch dozing. He draws a chair up beside Asch's bed, setting the bowl on the nightstand and watching him sleep with a soft smile on his face.]

[What's that, food? Asch gets a whiff of it and starts to wake up after a few minutes, eyes flickering open.]

.... mm... I fell asleep...?

You did. It's a good thing too, you need it. [Guy reaches over to brush Asch's bangs before helping him sit up, using pillows to prop him up and keep him steady.]

[Asch lets Guy move him around, eager to get some food in him. He's tired of feeling hungry and weak, dammit, but he knows it's better than being dead, so he isn't complaining.]

I guess I'll be sleeping a lot for a while...

Probably. But it's for the best. [Guy takes a seat on the edge of the bed and takes the bowl up, stirring the broth a bit before lifting a spoonful to Asch's lips.]

I hope this doesn't become a ritual for us. [He smiles faintly before parting his lips for the soup. Tasty as ever; Guy's always been a great cook.]

You sure? I think you'd like me to feed you.

[That look is so irritating. >:|] You wish.

[Don't be so dumb and he won't have to use it. :|] All right, all right. You don't have to worry about it once you get your strength back, then.

[Meanie.] Maybe you just like feeding me.
