[Totally locked from Bob for future lulz.]

I can't believe I'm doing this.

I'm Asch.

[.....Does he have to explain more?]

...Guy mentioned me the other day.

[More?]

...Don't feel obligated to talk to me just because he asked.

[Maybe that was too much.]

....I'll try to be friendly if you do, though.

[Wait that came out wrong.]

....Right.

[That should do it.]

I... suppose if you must, then you must. [...Pause] Do the replicas have a difference in their, [...How to word this...] basis?

[...A sigh, and then she figures the only way she can explain this is to tell it directly]

Some time ago, my f- a dear friend of mind had something like a "replica" made of him. But this copy, this... copy, I suppose... was formed entirely of darkness. The fiend which was made was everything that L- my dear friend was not. Where my friend was a hero, the creature born was a villain.

What made them up was entirely different in that respect.

[She listens to that, and can't help but think it sounds familiar in a way. Of course, in Hyule there were six Sages: the Forest, Fire, Water, Light, Shadow, and Spirit. And then Zelda who was the leader of them... Time, perhaps? She was never certain in Zelda's case. And then there were the goddesses: Farore of Courage, Nayru of Wisdom, Din of Power... Still, after being lost in thought for a few seconds, she eventually nods there]

So in a sense, they are born as an... infant is. [A pause] Well, most infants, that is.

[In a land as ruled by destiny as Hyrule is, it is hard to say what a person is born to be. Still, that is a topic for another time. She instead jumps on the fonon part:]

In a way these fonons sounds not entirely dissimilar to the goddesses or perhaps the Sages.

Yes, the Sages. There are si- seven of of in all, each a key part of Hyrule's history and most probably it's future. I am the Sage of Water. In addition to me there are the Sages of Light, Forest, Fire, Shadow, and Spirit. And then the seventh is... our leader, I suppose. It is hard to say what she is to represent. Time, maybe...

Are are the descendants... or at least the successors - baring Rauru, who is an ancient being indeed - of the Sages who created both the Master Sword and the Temple of Time. Are are tasked with aiding the foretold hero in protecting Hyrule.

...Yes. There has been a long told legend that there would come a hero - the Hero of Time, that is - who would defeat what evil would try to claim the Triforce of the Gods which the Temple of Time was created to encase.

Hyrule seems to a word filled with prophecies. And if the last seven years say anything at all, they all seem bound to come true.

Ruled an average person's lives? Fortunately, Hyrule is not so strictly bound, but for the select few who are chosen to fulfill these auguries... Well, I suppose the goddesses did as they intended.

Yes, I suppose I should.
