[Early in the morning, Asch is by the section of trees close to the river outside House 5, standing in the snow in just his uniform, holding the Key of Lorelei. He seems fixated on whatever it is he's doing, namely holding the Key tip-down into the snow, both hands on the end of the hilt, eyes closed as he focuses. Every few moments you might catch a slight glow around him, little more than a flicker before it fades.

Talk, harass, troll, lurk? He's open for bothering, though he won't like it. |D]

[Guy's just watching from the window for now; maybe he'll go out and see in a second. It's a bit obvious what Asch is trying to do though, so he's not too eager to interrupt.]

[It might take a while, but probably before too long Asch stops abruptly, pushing away from the sword and leaving it in the snow as he steps away to take a breather by the closest tree.]

[Asch glances sidelong as Guy approaches, arms crossed, then averts his eyes.] You were watching?

I'm fine. [He shifts a little, knowing Guy is rarely content with the typical answer, and after a moment adds,] Just frustrated.

[Asch falls silent at that, trying to conceal how troubling the statement is. He never mentioned his lack of power to Guy.]

[Well, it was a little obvious what you were doing. At least, to someone who's seen it as much as Guy.] ...you gonna tell me about it?

[Asch doesn't respond for a long moment, lips pursed. Finally, he shrugs.]

I can't use hyperresonance anymore.

Yeah. I remember. [He pauses; so...that had happened here, too. Apparently the Malnosso didn't bring people back in the same condition as when they died.

Or maybe Luke and Asch were just special.] So that's what happened.

He has second-order hyperresonance now. And it looks like I still can't use it at all.

[ Haseo's out and about this morning. Of course, it doesn't look like he's slept, anyway. He's decided to look for any signs of Sakubo coming back, and will probably be doing these little strolls until the kid shows up safe and sound again.

He spots Asch, though, and is... vaguely curious. He doesn't want to be distracted, but he is, and he'll be watching for a little while, to try and figure out what he's doing. ]

[is not much of a troll, or a harasser. Lurking, though, she can do. More of a walk in the snow that happened to take her past this way, really...and she can't help but watch Asch do whatever it is she's doing. Objectively, any kind of magic is pretty awesome to watch]

[After a few moments, Asch opens his eyes and glances sidelong at Haseo, eyes narrowing slightly. He'd thought he heard something, and look at that.] ...What?

[ Natalia is just stepping out of the house, all nice and wrapped up snugly in a cloak over her normal clothes, when she sees Asch there. And because the glowing is definitely out of the norm, she stands there and watches to see what he intends to do. ]

[It's not very impressive, admittedly- a few flickers of light, nothing more, though if she looks carefully she might notice the snow melting a little around the sword.]
