I'm sorry... I feel like I'm missing a rather large part of the story.

... Dangerous? As in, unstable? [She's not certain as if by distance he wants her to leave, or simply step back, so she'll wait for him to clarify.]

I don't want to ask too much of you. What you've offered already is enough. And hyperresonance is... hard to explain. I know I can control it, but I don't want you to be caught up in it. It has the power to deconstruct matter, so being too close is... [Well, it can be left unsaid in this instance.]
