[There's a shuffling noise for a moment, and a muttered phrase too faint to decipher. Finally, 'Luke' speaks up, his tone serious and surprisingly calm:]

Residents of Luceti who originally came from Auldrant, and any strong healers with a deep connection to the spirit Nala who are willing to help- please respond to this. It's very important.


[Luke can be found by the river near House 5, hidden in a copse of trees, kneeling in the snow. He's pretty serious business right now.]

[Obedient puppy is obedient and will come over to stand next to Luke.]

[There's a good puppy.

Luke reaches out immediately and grips Emil's leg, eyes clenched, reaching out towards... whatever Emil's fonon equivalent might be. He's running blind in all of this. Emil himself might feel a strange, drawing feeling- not a drain, exactly, but an odd sensation regardless.]

[Emil has to fight the instinct to pull away when Luke grabs his leg like that, and when he starts to feel that odd sensation, the urge becomes even stronger. Still, he wants to help Luke, so he'll remain silent and motionless throughout all of this, waiting for whatever is going to happen next. He just hopes he'll be able to be of any use at all.]

[There's a long moment where this continues, until finally Luke releases him, shaking his head.]

...It's not good. You don't have what I need.

[Emil sounds decidedly disappointed.]

[He smiles faintly, looking slightly hopeful.] You can wish me luck...?

[He swallows hard.]

Okay. Um, good luck?

[That... doesn't really make him feel like he's done much, though.]

I'm sure it'll work, Emil. Then Asch and Luke will be back, just like you want. You should be happy, right?

[He's quiet for a moment. That is what he wants, yes, but will it mean that this Luke is going to disappear?]
