[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

[That's a voice she wasn't expecting to hear again. There's a long, unsure pause at first. Did she really hear that right? She sits down at the table and speaks with a hint of hesitation.]

['Sup Stella. He takes a long moment to respond, too, since... well, he's grateful for their talk as 'Lusch', but he's not good with thank yous.]

[And she lets out the breath she didn't realize she was holding in. It is Asch. Whatever he did as "Luke"... It worked. She smiles to herself a little.]

I'm glad to hear your voice again.
