[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

[That's a voice she wasn't expecting to hear again. There's a long, unsure pause at first. Did she really hear that right? She sits down at the table and speaks with a hint of hesitation.]

[Oh, hey, she...vaguely remembers this voice. What was his name again? Thinking, thinking, think--nope, nothing. It had something to do with fire, right? Regardless, Miyabi is too nice a person to let someone who seems hurt no unnoticed. She didn't know what had been going on with him; she'd just assumed he was kidnapped and returned.]
