[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

There's too much politics on my world, that's all. [He lifts his eyes again, eyes narrowing a bit at the hair-tugging.] I know her, yes. Why?

Poly...ticks? [Oh, gods, those sound nasty. Good luck with that. Miyabi doesn't pull hard, and lets his hair go when he more of less glares at her.]

You can't see her true form, right? If you'd let me borrow a page from your journal, I can show you. It'll have to be quick, since I don't have my paints with me, but I need the practice, too. I was planning to do a nice picture to show everyone, but you can have a sneak peek~

She has a true form? [He tears out another sheet and lifts it up to her without waiting for an answer, not sure what she's talking about. He's only ever seen a white wolf, though on occasion it looks like she has faded reddish markings.]

Yes. To people who don't believe completely in her, she merely looks like a white wolf. But to people who believe...

[Miyabi takes the paper and bounces her way to his nightstand, smoothing it out flat. Unsheathing her sword and holding out the brush tip part of it, she begins to paint a small, sloppy, and pretty basic portrait. And no, Miyabi has no idea that Ammy has a third, stronger, and more beautiful and detailed form.]

She looks like that. [Miyabi sighs, definitely not pleased with her work.] It'd be a little better if I had my proper tools, and practiced more. I'll have to try harder next time...

...I've never seen anything like it. Her. Whatever. All of that is the mark of a god?

Yes. I don't have any red paint, but her marking are red, and the reflector on her back--[She walks over and stands on the round, poorly-drawn circle.]--is her Divine Instrument, the Wailing Mirror, which I heard she uses to fight with. She also has another, the Celestial Brush, which can control the very fabric of existence itself. Depending on the skill, she can call forth wind, rain, flame, or make plants grow, which is why she's so important. Her power is mostly that of creation and life.

That's hard to believe. I've only ever seen her... paint things. [Though... come to think of it, didn't she put a crack on a tree once?]

[Miyabi smiles, closes her eyes and turns to face Asch. Without hesitation, she draws a thick, black circle in front of his face. The ink hovers and glows green for a second. With a delicate pop! a single, pink blossom flutters down from where the ink was.]

The Celestial Brush draws power from painting. To my people, the brush is mightier than any sword. That skill was Bloom, which makes flowers and trees grow. I've almost mastered it. It's the only one I'm really good at.

[..........Holy crap.]

[Brb, grinning and laughing at your reaction forever.]

[O-oi, no laughing, chicka.]

Wh- it's not that funny...!

[Clearly, that only makes her giggle harder, but she stops for his sake, grinning happily. You make the best funny faces, Asch.]

No wonder Ammy likes you.

[She giggles again, and sheathes her sword, looking up at him seriously now, though there's a smile still on her lips.] Thank you for taking care of her while she was here. Are you feeling any better? I can make you something to eat, but I can't bring it to you, unfortunately. I'm sorry...

[Rrm. Funny faces indeed. 8| He looks away, irritated.]

I'm fine, I don't need anything else.

[Lighten up, sourpuss. ♥ Miyabi smiles and shakes her head a little. She picks up the blossom and puts it on top of the doodle she did.]

All right. Please feel better soon. If you ever need anything, let me know and I'll do my best.

[Asch looks down at the flower for a moment, studying it with an unreadable expression on his face. Finally he lifts the sheet, carrying the blossom with it, and tucks it into the front of his journal, responding with a very slight, curt nod. It's an acknowledgement, if nothing else...]

[She takes that with a smile. But it's about time she stopped intruding on him. She knows not to overstay her welcome. Miyabi bounces back towards the open widow and turns, bowing at the waist in a gesture of thanks and politeness.]

...It was a pleasure to meet you, Asch.

[And in that split second, she hops off the sill and heads home. What a weird person~]
