[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

It really wasn't any trouble at all. [Honestly, she just really likes doing things for people. Even if it's as small as cooking a light meal.]

[He mumbles something vaguely agreeable and keeps eating, intent on finishing as soon as possible. Man, Stella, you are too good with quiet guys. :|b]

You know, for a moment... I thought I was hearing things.

[He blinks at that, a little puzzled.] ...What...?

When you first spoke, saying that you were hungry. I thought I was hearing things I wanted to hear.

[She pauses, then looks at him with a hint of a smile.] I'm happy it didn't turn out that way.

[He hesitates briefly, meeting her gaze, then looks away awkwardly.] You're too easily pleased.

[Though he's glad of it.]
