[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

[Either Guy doesn't hear the response or he doesn't waste time replying, because a few minutes later he knocks politely on Asch's door before just pushing in anyway, a tray with a covered dish on top, along with a glass of juice.]

[Asch is half-sitting up in bed, still flipping through the journal. He looks up briefly as Guy comes in, though.]

Good evening. [Guy has a seat on the edge of the bed, setting the tray on Asch's nightstand. He'd been in here for at least half of his time, when he wasn't looking after Luke, just holding Asch's hand or stroking his hair or trying to coax water, juice or broth down his throat when he could.]

[Asch makes a vague sound in greeting, looking away just long enough to put his journal on the opposite side. He doesn't seem to want to look Guy in the eye, though.] ...How long was I asleep?

[If Guy notices, it doesn't seem to bother him.] A few days. You had some periods of wakefulness, but you weren't really coherent. Just there enough to drink something before passing out again.

[Asch's fingers clench in the sheets at that, but he doesn't respond.]
