[It's been a few days since Asch and Luke were split, and someone's finally recovered enough to wake up. There's a lot on his mind, but the first and foremost issue he takes care of, upon finding his journal by the nightstand, is:]

...I need something to eat.

[After which he starts flipping through the journal to see what he's missed, since he'll be damned if he's going to fall out of bed and crawl to the kitchen for it.]

I don't think I'd tease about that, though. [But he IS proud.]

And here I thought you'd joke about practically anything.

Not about this. [Guy doesn't offer any more than that, just bringing up some more water to Asch's shoulders.]

... [Asch hums a faint agreement, stretching his legs out and snagging the soap to wash off more.] ...I should probably know better.

Why's that? Have I made myself abundantly clear on the boundaries or something?

I know enough to make educated guesses.

Asch, you make it sound like I come with a manual.

...Hm. Guy the Fonbot, maybe? You'd probably enjoy that.
