[After getting violently ejected from his own house, Asch has set up temporary shop in Good Spirits until he figures out where to go (and whether or not to try and evict Guy and get his house back). Since Guy apparently hit his head and can't even remember working there, Asch is hoping that the bar will be the last place he'll have to worry about running into Guy again. And it's not like dealing with the shop is particularly hard; all you have to do is pour drinks and listen to people's griping, and what good is a replica if he can't do that in Asch's place? ...The listening part, anyway. Floating glasses of alcohol might give people the wrong idea.

So in short, Asch will be doing two things today: shopping and carrying groceries back to the bar to stock up, or hanging out in the bar and trying not to attempt to murder his invisible companion. Stupid drecks and their attempts at impressing him. He's not really used to being around a lot of people, so he easily forgets that he's the only one who can see Luke. Thus:]

I already told you to keep your feet on the ground. You could at least pretend to be normal.

[....]

Shut up! Stop doing that, I don't need help.

[....]

Just be quiet already!!

[...Yeah he's a little crazy in public this week.]

[Asch wordlessly turns and mixes one up for her, sliding it over. Despite the social aspect of it, it's actually very soothing - and satisfying - to work with his hands like this. No wonder other people have worked here.]

[Well, this is a surprise. She didn't think he could do it. But she takes a sip, and is pleased to find that it's actually pretty good.]

Ah, thanks. Think I needed that.

[Damn right it's good. Asch had a good teacher. ...Even if he doesn't know it.]

Oh, I'm not! Or at least, not often~ But I guess that's the Colonel's influence on me, maybe. And I think these past few days warrant a drink or two, you know? It's been pretty crazy.

...Mm. [Asch can't deny that. He's felt the urge to get ridiculously drunk and forget all of this bullshit. Stupid Malnosso, screwing with his reality.

...You know what, screw it. He's getting himself some shots.]

Normally I'd say that isn't good for you, but... [She ponders.] Maybe I'll join you for a shot or two, later~ If you're up to sharing those, of course.

I don't really care. [He's already considering abandoning the bar to indulge himself; he's endured the demands of other patrons all day, but after Guy's theatrics he'd lost the incentive to bother. At least Luke's finally quiet.

...Though his offer to host drinks himself isn't exactly wise, either.]

[She sips her margarita quietly for a bit, eying him curiously. He made it clear earlier that he didn't want to talk about it, but maybe the alcohol would loosen his tongue a little. She'd wait and see.]

[He'll clam up for a good while, at least, though his tolerance for the alcohol isn't great. He's sort of plowing through the shots at an alarming rate. Maybe he should've picked a lighter kind of alcohol...]

[It is pretty alarming. Anise watches in kind of morbid fascination for a while. Until she realizes that her margarita is all gone.]

So how strong is that stuff?

[By then Asch is on his third, feeling slightly loose-lipped. He slides the bottle towards Anise, lifting another.] Strong. It's not bad, though. Burns your throat.

[She stares at it for a moment, before figuring it was worth a shot. She pours herself one, throws it back and makes a face. Give her a moment to collect herself.]

Yeah, I think I'll take the girlier drinks any day, anyway. It does kind of hit the spot though!

Mm. [Asch swills his next drink around, considering it.] Doesn't help with anything, though. It's pointless.

Why would I? [When does he ever. Though another shot or two and he'll probably say something anyway. And help yourself, Anise, the bar's right there. Watch out for the broken glass.]

[Okay, wandering over to get herself something... maybe a light beer, or whatever she manages to find in there.]

Well, it might help? It'd be more helpful than say, breaking glass or something.

[The bar has a pretty decent variety at least. Also he's pretty damn vehement at that little implication there.]

[She isn't familiar with these names, but she'll take a bottle or two of beer and some glasses, putting them down where they can both reach. She'll be taking her former seat after that.]
