[After Guy's rather uneventful kidnapping right under their noses, Asch is feeling suitably irritated and downight volatile. He's trying to channel his temper into a more productive use, however; early in the day, he can be found stretched out on the lawn behind House 5, lying on his stomach and facing Star, the yellow cheagle. From the look of things, he's playing a rather bizarre game of fire Ping Pong with it- Star spits a fireball at him, and he uses his palm to either dissolve it or bat it back at the cheagle, who dodges deftly. Each time, Asch flicks a little treat in Star's direction, who munches it down before starting the cycle over again.

If one were to look closely, they might see a little flicker of light on Asch's palm right before the fire touches it. At his side are two swords, both sheathed; one, the Maestro sword, the other an unfamiliar katana. If caught in the moment he might actually look... relaxed, despite the situation. It's not going to last long, though.]

[Miyabi blinks, eyebrows lifting up. Guy used a katana? Hm, maybe she could get some lessons from him some time. ...After he got back. Eh.] ...You're a good friend, Asch.

[Miyabi smiles, rocking back and forth on her heels. She knew you could trust people, Asch! |D] I wish you the best of luck! I'm sure Guy will be fine with you worrying about him ,he seems strong.

...Probably. He's always fine. [Which is usually true. Doesn't mean he won't worry, but he can at least usually keep it to himself.]

[Oh, my. That face calls for her to work her way back up to his shoulder in large, bounding leaps. She sits on the collar of his tabard and puts a tiny hand on his cheek reassuringly. Miyabi has dealt with someone she cared about leaving as well. For a year.]

That's right. He's fine... But it's okay to be sad, and to worry. Just...just don't look like that all the time, okay? It'll make Guy sad when he comes back. If you're friends, then I'm sure he'd like it if you smiled and were happy, Asch.

...That's easier said than done. I can't be happy until he gets back. [And even then it'll be a stretch. Considering the company he has here...]

...Yes, you can. [She opens her mouth to add "don't be stubborn", but decides not to. It's best not to push him too hard right now. She sure felt the same way when Issun left. Thankfully, she had her friends and painting to keep her mind off the grief.] I'll visit you every day and we can do something. Paint, talk, sword fight, anything.

I'll even let you win the next time! [She grins. Come on, grumpybutt, smile. Hell, she'll even take a frown at this point. Miyabi just hates seeing people mope.]

[How about a bristle? He takes his fights way too seriously.] I'm telling you, you didn't win!

[Pff--she'll take it. With a laugh, no less. Ah, much better.] Hehe!! You're just sore because I made you fall on your butt! But if you want a rematch, we can have it after we paint together, okay?

[She leans against his cheek, snickering, and looks up into that big eye. |D Haha, you're so much fun to poke fun at. And yes, she did make your decision for you. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE.]

[Because you are no where near as intimidating as half the demons and monsters this poncle has to put up with daily, Asch. Add that to navigating a cursed forest just to get to her village when she steps out to the neighboring Oina village, and...yeah.

[It's a little disgruntled-sounding, but not overly so. He's used to Miyabi being like this anyway, so getting annoyed over it would just be unreasonable.]
