[Asch is hoping that a certain someone will get the message, but he doesn't lock it or anything. If she ignores it, it's not like he has to acknowledge it later.

...That's Asch-logic, anyway.

Message sent, though, Asch won't be sticking around the house too much today. With Luke hacking up a lung every few minutes, there's no point in trying to rest there. He'll check on Natalia first- whether she's at home or still recovering in the battle dome hospital, though whether she's in the dome or not he'll get some training done. His simulation involves being hopelessly outnumbered in a very white room full of intricate statues. And he leaves very disgruntled. (Why does he do this crap to himself, seriously.)

...He'll also raid the medical cabinets for sleeping pills, though for Luke or himself, who can tell?

On the way home he'll spend some time in the plaza picking up supplies. All in all it's a very uninteresting day in the life of Asch the Bloody.]

All right then, I'm sorry.

[No, she's not. That little smirk says that Miyabi's totally not sorry at all and may definitely hug him again in the future if she could. But for now, she opens her journal and points to the butterfly Asch drew.]

What kind of butterfly is this? Can I keep it? [The drawing, she means.]

Well, I wanted to ask before I tore it out. ...It's beautiful, you really drew this all by yourself? [She takes another look at the picture, tilting her head to get another angle on it. Asch could draw really well, and he seemed to not even care, or brush it off as nothing. She was almost jealous.]

Hm... Let me see your journal for a second.

And no one taught you how? That's amazing...

[Yeah, she's definitely pouting a little. Asch, you are very talented, and you can't even see it. But thankfully, once she's got his journal, Miyabi can get to work, kneeling down with the journal propped up on her knees.

She begins painting with a small brush she took from a pocket of her robes' sleeve and draws another butterfly (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~jy4t-kmn/papil/t97au99m.jpg), relatively close to his, but not close enough to mess up the original. The style is vastly different, and she smiles once she's done, standing up.]

There, now you have something I drew, too. Hehe, it's my butterfly. ...I-I mean, what my cap resembles. It's a Ki-ageha. "Ki" means yellow, and "ageha" means swallowtail.

...You're very talented, then.

[Yeah, she's definitely a little jealous, but mostly just wishes she could have that natural talent. She was pretty darn bad at drawing anything before she was taught how. And damnit, Asch, you're being difficult again. Miyabi gives him a bit of a sideways glance before looking back at the two butterflies.]

It's just the one I know the best! There are others, like the ones my friends wear for caps - most poncle girls wear them. The boys wear large helmets fashioned after beetles.

[F-Ffffff--what. Miyabi's cheeks brighten and she looks away instantly, tugging down one wing of her cap. She always liked her butterfly, too, as it was so bright and colorful, but to have someone else point that out...it was a little embarrassing.]

Th-Thank you...

[Awkward silence, gogo!]

A-All right... Take care on the way home. [Miyabi smiles warmly, heading back over to the tree to probably climb up onto a low branch and relax. She stops however, and turns back to Asch.]

I'm really happy that we're still friends, Asch.
