- come and work at good spirits!,
- don't come and work at good spirits,
- he would be literally the worst boss,
- it takes him months not to hate people,
- just imagine working with him,
- on a daily basis,
- people get headaches in his presence,
- seriously though we do need more people,
- the chance of getting hired is still low,
- you're a bully asch

[Uuuuugh, he really doesn't want to do this. Human resources has literally never been his department. Even when he was prepping to become the eventual king of Kimlasca, he had certain social issues that should've been worked on; growing up in Daath and earning a reputation fitting for Asch the Bloody just made them worse.
But he's tired of spending an absurd amount of hours at a bar that he can't decide whether or not he even likes anymore just because no one else is available, especially with half the staff missing. When Norma doesn't even bother showing up to work for several days in a row that basically cements it.]
...Good Spirits is hiring. Come to the bar this afternoon for an interview if you're interested in joining the staff.
[And that's pretty much where he'll be. As usual. But don't expect to get the job just because you show up!! ...Actually, that's might just make him less inclined to hire you, which is the very definition of counter-productive. The standards of Asch the Bloody are high, indeed. The Gordon Ramsey of bartenders]

[At least, the drunk people he's seen were pretty happy.]
[Action]
[He, for example, is a mean drunk. And if he were to make a guess, he'd figure that Emil would be the type to mope or do something absurd like jump off a roof.]
[Action]
[They certainly weren't anything that he would choose to consume if given the choice, that much is for sure.
Asch's assessment of Emil being an absurd drunk would be fairly accurate, though.]
[Action]
[Drugs weren't exactly commonplace - here or in Auldrant - but he'd seen enough during his time with the Oracle Knights to know more than most about a lot of things, particularly as commander of Special Operations. It's a nice pair of words for "the work no one else wants to do".]
[Action]
[But back to the original topic...]
It must be kind of fun to get to experiment with all of those different kinds of alcohol to make new drinks, though.

[Action]
[Okay, that sounds interesting, and now Emil kind of wants to see it for himself.]
Do you think you could make one for me? You know, just to see what it tastes like.
[Action]
It's not that strong, so even if you don't like liquor, it's probably fine.
[Action]
Wow... that looks really tasty.]
It looks more like orange juice than anything alcoholic, if you ask me. But it smells delicious!
[Action]
[His tone is amused more than anything else, though. You weirdo, Emil.]
[Action]
[That much is just basic logic.]
[Action]
[You're not drinking it, Emil, are you trying to imply something? Asch quirks a brow, waiting impatiently.]
[Action]
This really is good! You're right, it doesn't taste like alcohol at all.
[Action]
When people say that, I wonder- what's the point of even adding the alcohol in the first place? To make yourself drunk without even noticing? It's reckless.
[Action]
I thought it was so that even people who didn't like alcohol could still have a drink if they wanted.
[That makes the most sense to him, as he's not a big fan of the taste himself.]
[Action]
[The logic is lost on him.]
[Action]
[Being tipsy DOES feel kind of nice, he can't deny that much.]
[Action]
[Asch's response is pretty noncommittal, but he doesn't outright disagree. His last experience with drunkenness had been unpleasant for the most part, and he's not keen on repeating it. But hey, if other people enjoy it, it's not like he knows what a good time is.]
[Action]
[At least, that's how he interprets that sound Asch just made. He doesn't seem too enthused by the thought of getting drunk.]
[Action]
[He scowls; his opinions on inebriation before working at the bar had been pretty low already, but by now he's so done with the whole concept.]
It isn't for me.
