[Asch is in the wooded area in front of house 5, close to the crossroads but facing away, working through his techniques and practicing his fonic artes. He's been pretty irate since his conversation with Natalia, and after Jacob's sacrifice and his discussion with Guy, he's more focused than before, but he's still not in the best of moods.

His journal is open on a rock nearby in case something else happens or he's needed for something; feel free to a) see him, b) hear him shouting out random attacks, c) troll, or d) ignore entirely. |Db]

[Guy's just in a nearby window, watching Asch with his chin in his hand. Not really hiding, but not making an effort to reveal himself either.]

[Asch sees him easily enough when he happens to glance over, but opts to ignore it for the moment. His attacks do carry an extra bit of vehemence after looking, though; he's obviously venting.]

[SIGH. He can either go out there and try to diffuse the situation or ignore it and hope it just blows over. ...well, Guy's always been a go-getter before. This shouldn't be any different, right?

'I don't want to talk about this right now.'

Guy stands up, sliding his journal away from himself and heads outside.]

[Asch doesn't notice Guy leave the window, but he does see him approaching, catching a flash of yellow and orange as he twists through a particularly complex arcane arte. He lowers his sword as Guy draws closer, expression wary, breathing hard. He has no idea what to expect from this- from either Guy or himself.]

[Hi Ratty. Asch glances over in mid-kata and spots Emil, watching warily. Hello, what's with those red eyes of yours? Is that who he thinks it is?]

[Asch halts, eyes narrowing, and finishes his technique with a forward jab, blade pointed towards Ratatosk.]

You have a problem with that?

Are you sure you should be using up your energy that way?

I'm not going to wear myself out with just this. But I need to be prepared for whatever's coming.
