[Guess who's trying to get active while Guy's kidnapped? Sitting around, bitching at people, and breaking things won't solve anything, so for once Asch is being an adult about it. He has no idea what Meryl's bar schedule is, so with Guy gone he's claiming the bartender job. ...Hopefully this will not end badly. He'll be there every day from now until Guy returns, so feel free to challenge his novice mixing skills.

[The Slayer has her own sorrows to drown, so when she sits down at the bar she barely manages to make eye contact before mumbling to the person on the other side of the counter:]

Make me your best whatever that doesn't taste like it has alcohol in it. [A pause.] Actually? Scratch that. Let's go with something that doesn't actually have any alcohol at all because, otherwise? That's a bad road.

[Asch doesn't pry about it, since plenty of people have something to be depressed about. He waits until she's done (god, make up your mind 8|) then pours her a virgin dacquri, sliding it over to her.]

[That was not the voice that she had expected. In fact, looking up from the drink, it's not the bartender she expected. Huh. With a frown, Buffy wonders just why this person--this person who is definitely not Guy or really anyone else that she might recognize by sight; although, his voice is familiar in a shadowy way--as if she spoke to him, once.]

So, just where is the professional? Vacationing it up?

[Ok, I give, we'll bother Mr. Grumpy face. Alexei may want a drink or two since his mind been on a lot of things. He enters the complex, looking around. He's traveling light today, his uniform without his armor and with only a sword in hand. ]

So, this is the Good Spirits.

[Asch studies the man as he comes in, waiting behind the bar with his arms crossed. From the uniform and the weapon he assumes the man is some sort of soldier, probably of decent rank or at least experience from his age and the way he carries himself. Alexei has a way of making an impression on people. He doesn't recognize the man, but considering his own antisocial nature, that's nothing new. Still, with the way he's exploring...]

[Asch doesn't have any snarky or bitchy commentary for him for once; he just looks up as Luke sits down, observes him for a moment, then leans back, eyes averted.]

[You know I don't think Tear's ever been in here. So she's notes the mention over the journals, locates Good Spirits, and wanders in. She's noticed Guy's absence and gathers that Asch probably isn't taking it well and she's yet to locate Luke to make sure he's okay. For a while she's just going to look around, appraising the building. Nice place.]

... [And then she'll try and fail at joking.] I didn't realize you knew your way around a bar, Asch.

[...Oh, hi Tear. Asch is surprised to see her in Good Spirits, but he shrugs it off. It's a social center of Luceti, after all- all sorts of people come for a drink or a chat, apparently.]

I've been here a few times with Guy.
