[After getting violently ejected from his own house, Asch has set up temporary shop in Good Spirits until he figures out where to go (and whether or not to try and evict Guy and get his house back). Since Guy apparently hit his head and can't even remember working there, Asch is hoping that the bar will be the last place he'll have to worry about running into Guy again. And it's not like dealing with the shop is particularly hard; all you have to do is pour drinks and listen to people's griping, and what good is a replica if he can't do that in Asch's place? ...The listening part, anyway. Floating glasses of alcohol might give people the wrong idea.

So in short, Asch will be doing two things today: shopping and carrying groceries back to the bar to stock up, or hanging out in the bar and trying not to attempt to murder his invisible companion. Stupid drecks and their attempts at impressing him. He's not really used to being around a lot of people, so he easily forgets that he's the only one who can see Luke. Thus:]

I already told you to keep your feet on the ground. You could at least pretend to be normal.

[Asch glances over as he enters, leaning slightly on the bar counter. Since he's not usually in the bar, he doesn't know about Ammy's usual visits, so he's puzzled by the wolf's presence. As well as what he looks so unhappy about.

The fact that she is now a he is completely lost on him /o/]

...You're not here for a drink, are you?

[Well, he was... He's not so sure anymore. Tai looks over at Asch - Squishyyy ♥ before he looks directly at Luke and tilts his head a bit to the side with a soft "Roo?". What happened to him?]

[Yes yes, he wuvs you too. Luke floats over right away and starts petting him, happy to have someone who can see him and not bitch him out. Meanwhile, Asch just glowers.]

Don't harass the customers, dreck. [Not jealous. At all.]

[It's a bit odd, being petted by a poltergeist or whatever Luke's become, but he still leans up into it with a contented sound and a wagging tail. Pettings are nice no matter who they come from! But just because he doesn't talk doesn't mean he can't think, and thus Luke might be able to hear his thoughts leaking over now that he's touching him. "What happened to him?" In a clear male voice at that.]

[It's not exactly a substantial petting, since Luke has no physical body, but he tries his best. After a moment of message-sharing, Asch gives them both a puzzled look.]

...Ammy's not a boy.

[Even metaphorical petting is nice! But now Tai has to blink, then lean his head over to give Asch an equally puzzled expression... as much as a wolf can give, anyway. Who is this Ammy person, anyway? A lot of people have been saying that name when they talk to him!]

[Why are you looking at him like that, Ammy. Clearly there's something wrong with this dreck.

No, really, it's a boy! ...Really.]

[D-Damn dog D8 ... But he's right about that. Tai hangs his head with a loud, exasperated sigh. This really is confusing...]

[BUT OH WELL we'll figure that all out later! Right now he's excited to see Luke again, even if he is kind of a ghost! So he'll pick his head right back up and raise his front paws at the spirit briefly as he wags his tail. Fluffy~ ♥]

[And Luke just goes right back to petting and fluffing her fur, more than happy to do so. Asch will just be glowering at them behind the counter.]

[He can't actually feel the pettings, but the intention behind them is the same, so he leans up into Luke's hands, although he goes through them several times because of it. "It's wonderful to see you!"

But then he turns his head to stare at Asch. You must come join in their shenanigans, too!]

[Luke blinks and follows Ammy's - Tai's - gaze, looking about the same as a tail-wagging dog might, sans the actual tail. Asch doesn't move, snorting faintly.]

Maybe you can afford to screw around, but I have work to do.
