[After getting violently ejected from his own house, Asch has set up temporary shop in Good Spirits until he figures out where to go (and whether or not to try and evict Guy and get his house back). Since Guy apparently hit his head and can't even remember working there, Asch is hoping that the bar will be the last place he'll have to worry about running into Guy again. And it's not like dealing with the shop is particularly hard; all you have to do is pour drinks and listen to people's griping, and what good is a replica if he can't do that in Asch's place? ...The listening part, anyway. Floating glasses of alcohol might give people the wrong idea.

So in short, Asch will be doing two things today: shopping and carrying groceries back to the bar to stock up, or hanging out in the bar and trying not to attempt to murder his invisible companion. Stupid drecks and their attempts at impressing him. He's not really used to being around a lot of people, so he easily forgets that he's the only one who can see Luke. Thus:]

I already told you to keep your feet on the ground. You could at least pretend to be normal.

Shut up! Stop doing that, I don't need help.

... Good point. It's weird if both of you remember living there though.

It's stupid, is what it is. [Ugh. Now Asch really needs a drink. He usually doesn't share his own life out of the blue like that. And he's supposed to be the bartender! He's supposed to listen to other peoples' problems and hopefully feel better about his own.]

You look like you need a drink more than I do.

...I don't drink often. [He's an easy lush.]

Well, you don't have to drink something too strong.

[Goddamned enablers. He does have a point, though, so with an uncaring shrug he helps himself to a glass of vodka-soda mix, sipping it in irritation.]

Does that taste good? [Curious~ curious~]

If it didn't, I wouldn't be drinking it.

Some people like drinking stuff that tastes awful though.

I'm not one of them. The idea of that is stupid. [Especially in places where alcohol is expensive.]

[Asch glances over at her - briefly trying to gauge her age - and then dismisses it, obviously not caring. He mixes up a second mug and slides it over.]

[Score! Ted grins at him, then takes a tentative drink...

Only to pull away in surprise, wrinkling her nose.] You have odd tastes.

And you have no taste, if you don't even like that. It's about as mild as alcohol can get.

[This version has never had any! Well, except now. Congrats.] I think I'll stick to the first drink. It was nicer.

[Asch shrugs; he really doesn't give a damn what she drinks. What a waste, though. 8|] Your call.
