He treats you that differently when he's teaching you?

Well, it's really not proper for a servant of the household to teach the main family, and Pere's kind of stuck in his ways. But since Father couldn't and Pere was the only one who could teach me the Sigmund style, it just worked out that way. So we drop the social pretenses during practice to make it easier on us both.

How did you handle the servant position? It must've been a challenge for you both to get used to being casual at the manor.

Well, we had plenty of practice in St. Binah, so it wasn't that bad.

Usually if you want to know something, you go to the person when they suggest that they'd rather not talk about it publicly. When you said, "you know where to find me," it was more me seeking you out.

I'm fine with sharing anything you want to know, Asch, but not enough to go out of my way. So in this kind of situation, it would be up to you to make the effort.
