[There's a brief shuffle, and a strained gasp, before a voice speaks up. Someone's back from a little excursion with John. He doesn't have the energy to lock it.]

[Asch just gives him a look at first, because what the hell, man. Hyperresonance doesn't work like that.

Then he takes the rock with an inward sigh, because goddammit, it's not like he has any better ideas.]

[Guy is scooting back. Because while he loves Asch, he is not down with getting vaporized because his spazzy BF can't chill out.]

[Asch studies his hands again, trying to will the hyperresonance back under his control again with minimal success.] ...It's like I don't even remember how to use it.

That's the most confusing part. I remember everything about it. I know I can control it. But any time I try, it's... [And here he gestures somewhat helplessly, because how do you explain that you know how to do something but you don't?]

[Guy is going to invade Asch's personal space now, and wrap an arm around him to help him up to his feet.]

[Asch hesitates, resisting a little.] Is that really a good idea?

Something tells me this isn't a problem that'll fix itself in an hour or two, and I don't feel like spending days out here. [So no, it's not a good idea.]

[Rrrgh. It's not like Asch wants to sit around outside, either, but he definitely doesn't want to blow up the house or something. Dammit.] ...Fine. I'll work on it there.

[He'll be sulking the whole way home, too. Stupid Malnosso, messing with his hyperresonance.]

[Guy can't even bring himself to tease Asch (though that partially because he doesn't want to accidentally trigger his hyperresonance). They make it home and to the bedroom, and Asch is deposited on the bed before Guy heads off to get some tea and something for him to eat.]

[Asch grumbles quietly to himself and goes about getting changed while Guy's gone. Wearing the same clothes since he'd been kidnapped has made them kind of rank, thank you very much.]

Guy returns with tea and- soup. Nothing too strenuous for you, Asch.]

[And when he gets back to the room he'll find Asch standing stock-still inside by the bed, staring down at his underwear.
